  • "A perfectly formed 3 floor house, and sitting on the sofa you can see the sea."

    A couple of minutes and you are by the beach, walking into Bridlington itself is a pleasant stroll along the waterfront. A great location for beach holiday or from which to explore the area and Cath was on the end of the phone/messaging to answer any queries. Perfectly dog friendly with enclosed garden and the dog friendly beach close by. We visited all the local villages, York, Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and several other places.

We absolutely loved our stay there. Cath was the perfected host. We meet her on our first day. She was just lovely.     A cosy sitting room, extremely spacious main bedroom with an excellent sea view, very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a private garden, all in a quiet location, with the huge bonus of off-road parking yet so close to the sea. The beach is magnificent too! We had a wonderful holiday there and Catherine is extremely helpful with lots of local knowledge, but unobtrusive. We would love to return one day.

    Spotlessly clean,warm,comfortable,all mod cons with super comfortable beds.Ideally situated for south beach enclosed back garden with patio,lawn and seating.Downstairs utility room to clean up dogs or kids before going upstairs and the bonus of a off road private parking spot at the front door.The owners Nick and Cath are inobtrusive but will go the extra mile if you should need them and I thank them for the wine and chocs.

    Very peaceful. Easy walk to harbour & town centre - plenty of cafes to stop in! Very clean with all you need if you eat in. Seating & bed very comfy & garden great for our dog (also lovely seating area for the warmer months). We went later in year than normal but weather good. Owner very helpful & friendly & close by if required. Parking space a bonus. Chocolate & wine gratefully received!! Thank you.   • "Definitely a 5 * property!"

    . Everything about Sea Mews is perfect and exceeds expectations for a rental property. Particularly worth noting are the quality of the towels and bedding as well as the benefit of parking in a seaside resort in the summer. Contact with the owner to arrange keys prior to arrival was easy and the added treat of a bottle of wine and chocolates was much appreciated. The garden has a picnic bench and 4 garden chairs and table so great for sitting out or eating although being so close to the beach that's where we tended to head for a walk along the prom. Anyone booking this property will not be disappointed.

  • "Sea Mews What a comfortable well equipped holiday home."

    The little touches of chocolates and wine as a welcome gift, the lovely plants that made it a home for the week and the modern colourful and comfortable decor made this a home from home. The apartment is situated within five minutes of the beautiful south beach and promenade but also close to main roads leading to nearby attractions like Flamborough and Sewerby Hall. It s about fifteen minutes walk from the local railway station which we used for days out to Beverley and thanks to Cath for the recommendation of the theatre in Hull. We were never short of anything to do and really enjoyed staying in this quiet part of Bridlington.

    Parking easy and just over a 10 minute walk to the Railway station or Town Centre. Only about a minute from the beach, where, if you turn right, you can walk for 3 miles on the sand when the tide is out.

  • "We thought this was one of the best places we’ve stayed in, very comfortable and lovely to come back to after a day out."

    The only comment would be that the two sinks in the bathrooms were very shallow and only allowed hand washing. Washing your hair (or your body) meant having to have a shower or bath. A glass recycling facility would be appreciated too. Thanks.

  • "Had a absolutely wonderful stay at the Mews."

    Cath was ever so helpful. The property is beautiful, modern and comfortable. With everything you need. It would be suitable for families, couples and solo guests like myself self. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties or reduced mobility as it is set over 2floors. Very close to the beach, very quiet. Richie's cafe close to the property does nice meals, they are open to 11pm but stop serving meals at 6pm. Further in to Bridlington town centre ,about a 10 min walk, there other pubs that do meals. Overall had a lovely stay at the Mews, I will be recommending it to my friends and I will be returning.

    One lovely double room, with sea views, and a good sized twin room. The property is close to Bridlingtons South Beach, with facilities close by. There is a bathroom and a shower room, both with W.C.s and a utility room on the ground floor, with a nice enclosed garden at the back. It is dog friendly, and there is off road parking The owners live locally and are easily contactable if needed. Its a great place to stay for a week by the seaside!

  • "Really lovely holiday home, great location and a nice roomy place."

    A couple of little niggles, while the kitchen is lovely and a good size it does lack any useful utensils to cook with (one flimsy plastic draining spoon is really not sufficient to make a meal with) Also while there were a couple of jigsaw puzzles provided there was not really anywhere to do them. We used the kitchen table to eat meals and the coffee table in the living room was not really suitable. The garden is lovely and secure but the items that are on the path are a little awkward to navigate (a large stone roller and the metal stand and umbrella) and these would be best moved to the garage or corner of the garden. That said, we had a lovely stay and we will book again.

    Thank you for the feedback. Had you rang me, I would have immediately brought extra utensils to the ones provided. The jigsaw puzzles were not provided by us so must have been left by previous guests. Property Owner

  • "Sea Mews is a beautiful and comfortable house."

    The beds are very comfortable. There was everything there you could possible need. Dog friendly and a garden that accommodates dog. The seafront is only a few yards from the house. South beach is nice and sandy. We were lucky to see two dolphins. Cath and Nick are lovely and ready to help with any issues you might have. Riche’s cafe-bar, is a great place to start the day with breakfast and a lovely view of the beach and ocean. Riche’s is also dog friendly. Will we be going again, YES!

The property

Perfectly positioned some 70 yards from the access to the stunning South Beach and Promenade and approximately 400 yards to the iconic Bridlington Spa Royal Hall and historic harbour.

Also,convenient for access to cliff top walks and Bridlington Golf Club.

An interesting late 1960’s three storey town house styled on trendy Chelsea Mews’ style property.

The house has an imposing south facing frontage with adjacent sea views.

It is Ideally suited for both family and friends to enjoy.

There is private parking for two vehicles on the front forecourt, then you enter the property at the ground floor level where you will find a reception hall leading to a useful utility room, ideal for storing sandy shoes and home to the laundry if you want to freshen up any belongings after a day on the beach.

From the doorstep of the house, a plethora of eateries await, offering something for all palates and pockets, as well as shops to browse and to pick up any essentials.

Bridlington’s magnificent harbour is just a stroll away, with South Beach offering a large stretch of sand and a good range of modern establishments, whilst North Beach has a magnificent sand and shingle beach surrounded by a wide promenade and backed against the impressive Flamborough cliffs, promising to be a superb day out for the entire family.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey.
