  • "Lovely place to stay, very clean."

Ideal for a stay in Hornsea, which is a busy little town. A home from home. We would happily stay at Seashells and Hornsea again.

  • "Fantastic property in a brilliant location."

2 minute walk and you were in the town centre. The property is incredibly clean, is lovely and cosy and has everything you could need. Phil, the contact, is really lovely and helpful as well, if you need him. Will definitely stay again. My parents visited for the day and they loved it so much they've booked to stay in May.

  • "Great little holiday flat perfectly positioned for exploring beautiful Hornsea and surrounding area."

Came here with my puppy to avoid the fireworks at home but was dismayed to find a firework display planned in the nearby park. However the lovely people of Hornsea were using silent fireworks, so we had a peaceful night. The flat was clean, with a well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa and bed. Nice tidy little yard accessed from the kitchen to let the dog out. No problem parking. Tea, milk and dog treats on arrival, and owner Phil kept in touch to make sure everything was OK and speedily delivered some missing washing up bits. Plenty of coat hangers, up to date telly, decent sized towels and a lap tray ( not present in a lot of places I’ve stayed) The under staircase cupboard was brilliant for storage of coats, leads and boots. I would have liked a footstool and some info about the bins would be handy but we had everything we needed. I expected road noise and even though there was resurfacing work on the road outside (until 11pm!!) and we could hear the upstairs neighbours at times I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages ( must have been all the sea air and walking !! ) The beach and the mere are in walking distance. And the pup loved the many walkies and socialising with all the dogs on the front. I’ve visited this area many times and I love it. Thankyou for another fantastic holiday

  • "Although a compact apartment it had all you needed for an enjoyable stay."

The back yard has a place to sit and enjoy the sun away from busy traffic. Phil, the caretaker, kept in touch to ensure the stay went smoothly and to enquire if you had any needs. The bed was really comfortable, in fact I slept better there than at home. The apartment is near to all facilities and dog friendly pub was across the street. Parking is behind the Pub always found a place to park. I did holiday in October so in summertime it might be busier.

  • "The Seashells is an excellent property in a wonderful location with everything you need for a self-catering holiday."

Everything worked as specified and the place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The super friendly owner Phil is a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful should you have any questions. Tea and coffee also provided. Plenty of places on the doorstep if you fancy eating out and an excellent butcher a minutes' walk away. Parking was a breeze too. Ten out of ten for me and highly recommended. Faultless. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would happily return.

  • "First visit and it won’t be the last."

This apartment flat is up there with one of the best we have stayed. Everything you need for a comfortable break away, nice and quiet even next to a busy junction. If you want a relaxing stay with your pet dog this is where you need to stay, the owner was a great communicator and on the end of the phone if you needed assistance. Seashells is across the road from three pubs, an Italian restaurant and round the corner is the Main Street with more bars and eating places including Lilly’s Fish and Chips that were delicious with competitive pricing. Thanks for having us - we will definitely be back again and have already recommended it to our family.
