We were very pleased with Coastal Retreat, at The Bay.

The property was clean and well presented, with a care package for when we arrived. The Bay is such a great location for those with Dogs. Our fur kids absolutely loved it! It’s a lovely walk into Filey, via the beach. Scarborough and Bridlington are just a short ride away, if you are fancying a slightly busier change of pace. We will definitely be back!

Hi this is the second time we have been to this cottage.

And it feels just like a very comfy home, it’ feels very relaxed. And the kitchen has every thing in it that you need. We have just had a wonderful week there. We will definitely be back . You have a really lovely place. Thank you, we have both come home feeling very relaxed. And Parsley our dog loves going also xx

We had a great time.

Property was as described. Plenty of utensils, plates, pots and pans, to use. In a nice location, close to the pub, and the pool, and yet peaceful. There is some mould in the front bedroom, that required attention. This didn't detract from the stay, most likely to be down to lack of regular ventilation. We would return.

A very cosy and comfortable cottage, everything you could possibly need and much more.

The bedroom furniture could do with updating as water marks on every piece in the main bedroom and the drawers in the second bedroom looked like it had been black waxed but just made it look dirty, a shame really when the ground floor furniture was in keeping with the cottage vibe, also the light over the lopsided dinning table didn’t work. However a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend Coastal Retreat….. lovely!

We have stayed in several at the bay this was by far the best. Had everything we needed for a fabulous stay. Will be booking again x

Great property ideally situated and very comfortable.

Clean, tidy and well decorated throughout, plus with all the appliances needed. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely property, but doesnt have an enclosed garden as described, which was important with a reactive dog.

Lovely cottage, largely very comfortable with the exception of the bed where we found the mattress a bit too soft for our liking.

We were also disappointed that this wasn’t king size in the master bedroom as the room could take a king size bed and the larger bed is pretty standard in all the holiday homes we’ve stayed in previously. But on the whole based on location, presentation and price point I would recommend.

Lovely cottage on a great resort we really enjoyed our stay at coastal retreat and plan to return to it later this year.
