Lovely accommodation great communication with owner.

Ideally situated about a 10 minute walk to beach.

Had a lovely break accommodation was brilliant ,beach was a 10 minute walk away.

Definitely go again..

Very well equipped apartment, comfortable, matched description, owner very responsive to any queries.

Good base to visit the surrounding area, on site facilities such as shop, pharmacy and pub useful. Nice to be able to walk from the apartment to the beach. Although the holiday village was busy it remained quiet and pleasant.

Our 2nd stay at Greengables and had a lovely week.

The apartment is very clean and homely. Comfortable bed. Dog friendly which is great. Would highly recommend. Im sure we will be back next year.

Where is the point in your posing a question there if you are not going to respond to replies. On arrival I was dis appointed to find the property covered in scaffolding from ground to roof at the entrance. The heating settings were not operating properly and due to the poor weather conditions, the apartment remained quite cold, especially in the evenings. The notes on site instructed visitors not to try and adjust the heating settings. Temperature was or appeared to be set at 21 degrees, so, the radiators should have heated up. I decided not to stay on due to the poor heating conditions and returned home to Essex on 5 June 2025. I had informed the owner who apologised by text and said She wasn’t aware of scaffolding and would get heating system checked. We can’t control the weather but I feel I’d wasted my money especially as I felt the need to cut my holiday short. I have not been contacted by anyone since.

I spoke with Jo, the owner to arrange key collection prior to our stay and she was so helpful. Told me everything I needed to know and was super helpful. The apartment was lovely and super comfortable. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Lovely apartment would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic place.

.. It was Spacious, Clean and Comfortable. It had everything needed for a family of 5. •The bed was super comfy. •The sofa was amazing. •The games and DVD cupboard was like a treasure trove for my 3 boys. It was also located in a perfect place. 5 mins from a beautiful beach. It has fun games and activities for the kids. Swimming, Archery, Tennis and activities on site. The shop is very close by if you need anything. We had the most terrific time and would highly recommend.

Property wasn't cleaned or maintained to the holiday rental standard.

There were dog hair on the carpets and spider webs on all the windows and corner of the ceiling. Bathroom knob kept falling off. One of the kitchen bulbs wasnt even working. Toilets were not even flushed after putting bleach. No basic facilities like handwash or tea/coffee/sugar, kitchen foil, spare bin bags etc were provided. These are things available at every airbnb. The dining table wasnt suitable for indoors. I ended up hurting myself twice during the stay and getting bruises while saving my baby crawling around, so if you're travelling with an infant, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. It is not at all safe. There is no electric car charger within 5 miles. It was overall very inconvenient and disappointing stay that spoiled our first Christmas with my lil girl. Such a shame!!

Comfortable apartment in a great location.

Well equipped, warm and cosy - just perfect after a day walking on the fabulous beach or visiting the surrounding area. A perfect autumn break.

A Lovely holiday,home from home clean stylish everything you need a phone call away if any problems and a very nice phone call before we arrived ,very close to the shop, pub and swimming pool, a lovely quite resort which is very looked after with a short walk away down its private path to the beach we would highly recommend it

Close to the facilities at the bay. Owner was very helpful in an early entry. Had more dvds than a rental shop. Weather a little dodgy but that's not anybodies fault. Thanks again.

Nice site. Good location.

Storage in the kitchen was lacking no where to put coffee,cereal etc Otherwise just as described , good position near too the bar& restaurant,swimming pool.

The only thing I couldn’t find was a tea towel. Probably hiding in a drawer. Fantastic beach. Very dog friendly. I probably wouldn’t want to stay in a flat in really hot weather, but perfect otherwise.

5 star stay at Greengables, lovely spacious apartment, the Bay is very quiet and peaceful for a relaxing holiday, near to Filey and Scarborough.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was lovely and had everything you need for a home from home stay, the location was great just a short stroll to the pub etc and close to the beach.

We would definately recommend.

A great location for exploring the nearby coastal towns/villages of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough plus taking the dog for long walks on the beach at low tide (only a 10 minute walk way from the cottage).

A clean and cosy property with lovely décor throughout. A small shop is on site for essentials but we just popped up to Tesco in Filey. The only maintenance issue was the shower door in the en-suite bathroom which kept falling off the rails.

Just returned from a really enjoyable stay at this property.

The owner gave full information, in a friendly manner, over the phone and couldn't have done more to ensure our holiday was perfect. The property itself contained everything you could possibly need during your stay. Fully recommended.

owner was very helpful over the phone. Spacious apartment and nice complex . Shame the pool was only open until 6pm . Lovely walk to the beach but very steep on the way back up

Only issue was the very heavy dining chairs, whilst they look very nice, they are not really practical.

Owners very informative. In a nice area and overall a nice holiday park. Would definitely stay there again. Restaurant was a bit pricey for the quality of the food that was on offer but there was a nice pub just a short walk up the road.

The property was well laid out, comfortable and nicely furnished.

Close to the pub, pool and park, beach, shop etc. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed our stay. However, we were woken at night and in the early hours by doors banging either other apartments or the main entrance, mostly by dog owners. There was no outdoor space for the children so we were all either in or out of the appartment. I must also mention the John Paul as being the worst pub I've ever been in. The length of time we had to wait for food was up to 90 minutes, the children weren't able to wait patiently, on the third occasion we waited patiently and eventually asked if food was coming only to be told the order hadn't been placed. When the food did arrive there was human hair in the salad and the risotto was more like balls of clotted cream. It would have made a good sitcom so many people leaving without saying or getting full refunds on their food. So why didn't we go elsewhere? Because we couldn't get a table they were all closed due to staff shortages of fully booked.

Wonderful flat, need a new bottle opener though, one you have not great.

Very homely, cosy and clean. Perfectly sited for the pub, shop, cafe and beach. We will return in September after the summer rush. Highly recommended!

A lovely apartment - very stylish, comfortable and well equipped.

The location was ideal for Filey and Scarborough, and there are things to do on-site too.

Absolutely lovely holiday, the apartment was clean and well equipped very comfortable and homely.

The location was perfect, not far from filey, Bridlington and Scarborough. Great facilities on site, the shop, pub, pool and beach are all on your doorstep. Brilliant host, rang us prior to arrival and gave us all the information needed.

Plenty of room and nicely furnished. I wonder whether a dishwasher would be more useful than a washing machine in this property? It was our first visit to The Bay and we will definitely be returning.

The owner was very helpful and the property was great - spacious & clean.

Kitchen was well kitted out for a self catering holiday. The owner made sure that pets were made welcome too which as I was taking my dog I thought was very thoughtful. We didnt use the pub but the cafe on site was good and fairly priced. The staff in the shop were helpful and friendly. the walk to the beach is very pleasant at any time of the day or evening.

The flat was good however there was no internet signal even the data signal did not work no telephone signal

Stayed at the bay numerous times now & Greengables is definitely one of the better apartments.

The owner couldn’t be anymore helpful with access arrangements & a slight issue we had with tv reception. Turned out all the surrounding area was affected, She found this out and kept us updated which was really appreciated as it was beyond her control, plenty to do without the tv so it wasn’t a problem .

Very nice and spacious apartment, well equipped and great location.

Firstly i have a dog but have allergies to dogs thar moult so i dread booking accommodation thats dog friendly in case it sets me off - this apartment is super clean and allergy free, as is the whole site!

I was so surprised!! The apartment felts so luxurious with all the home comforts (bar a hairdryer) and my husband loved the bedding so much in the master he wants some for home! Im not very tech savvy so trying to operate a super microwave was difficult without instructions but got there in the end. The owner rang with incredibly detailed instructions and advice and i couldnt recommend them highly enough. We didnt have chance to use the leisure centre or other activities but we did use the pub and rhe food was very nice and reasonable and the kids entertainment on Saturday night was great. The beach is spotless. We hope so come back for a longer stay next time. Just a note that the key safe is quite tough to open so persevering is key. What a fantastic place!

Exceptionally clean. The owner is super helpful with key info and contactable 24/7. We have been twice and will be going again. The bay is a great place to holiday!

Short walk to a beautiful dog friendly beach. We all had a great holiday, already thinking of going back. We have recommended to lots of people already since being home!

lovely apartment, lots of games for kids, many dvds, only problem we had was the pool depth, at 1.

4 metres everywhere our youngest could not reach the bottom.

The swimming facilities etc were excellent and we enjoyed a well cooked meal at the pub. Loads to do in the local area for all the family. Beds were comfy and there were lots of games/ dvds etc. Thoughtful decoration made this a lovely place to stay in. The one downside was that although the bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless the kitchen wasn't as clean as it could have been. Oven gloves/ drainer needed replacing and we were only given 1 tea towel for the week. Other than this we would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The apartment was very clean and tidy, and after initial problems getting the heating to work, we were very warm and comfortable in the main living areas.

The facilities on site are very good, although the Italian Restaurant was not open during the week we stayed. The only complaint was the window in the main bedroom was extremely draughty when it was windy outside, so that room always felt a little cold. One the whole, we had a very enjoyable holiday

the bay is a lovely holiday village very clean etc would recommend that they have a general shop also some kind of night entertainment in the pub ie maybe a quiz night live music especially at weekends
