  • "It was perfect."

    Everything we wanted!

Wow.... another 100/100 review. This makes us really proud of all the hard work that went into renovating Hazelgarth House. A lot of time and effort was spent to make sure we got the lay out perfect so that families can all be together or if anyone wanted a little quiet time... there are other rooms where you can relax. The kids love the 1st floor breakout room with the Play Station and the amazing kitchen makes preparing and cooking meals a pleasure. I'm so pleased you had a wonderful time. • "We had a fantastic stay at Hazelgarth House, booking was easy as was all the communications pre, during & post stay."

The house itself was perfect, really clean, comfortable & plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub & the games room were fantastic, the dining area & kitchen spacious & clean & had everything needed. House is in a great location in Hunmanby & perfectly placed for exploring the East Coast. Honestly couldn't recommend enough.

We are delighted to hear that you had a fantastic stay at Hazelgarth House. It certainly is an outstanding property and we love being part of helping families making lasting memories. The hot tub is always a big hit! It's not many placed where all 28 guests can sit around the 2 huge oak tables and enjoy meals together. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review and we would love to welcome you back again. Best Wishes Julie Property Owner

  • "Very basic interior with shoddy parts of the house and patched up bathrooms."

Everything we touched fell to peices and then they had the cheek to try and charge us. Warning keep away from this property unless you want to go through the same hell that we did!

To all future guests reading this review – Hazelgarth House was refurbished in July 2023. As you will see from previous guests – this review is simply not accurate. These guests committed damage to shower screens, blinds and had bonfires ON TOP of our brand new, luxury picnic benches! Yes, we charged them for the damage caused, and at no point during their stay, were any maintenance issues raised, likely because they were causing the damage. Happy to report we fixed everything they broke within a few days and have already had some lovely guests enjoying the property in all it's glory. Thanks for reading, Julie Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely family weekend, four generations together, property is lovely and very well designed with layout etc, beds were so comfortable, kitchen well equipped with pots, pans, crockery etc."

Couldn't use hot tub as there had been a power cut and it tripped out, owners are going to add to info book on what to do if this happens. All the parking spaces were also brilliant. All in all an excellent property for all ages.

Wow .... another 100/100 ... thank you so much. I'm delighted that you and all the family had a great weekend at Hazelgarth House, it's the perfect place for multi-generational families to get together with plenty of space for all. It's a shame about the power cut and thankyou for letting us know so we can give clear instructions on how to solve the issue if there is ever another. Kindest Reagds Julie Property Owner

  • "Overall it's a wonderful property but it had some water leaking in the living room"

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review ...it's much appreciated. We really try and make all of our holiday lets feel 'home from home' so I'm delighted that you had everything you need. The leak has now been fixed and was due to some flashing on the roof that needed repairing and thankfully didn't cause any damage to our beautiful property. Best Wishes Julie Property Owner
