  • "Lovely property and lovely neighbours too."

It’s definitely not for those who struggle with mobility as there are steep stairs from the property that lead straight into the road with a blind corner to your right. It’s located on a road called The Cliff and that definitely describes the type of road/lane you will be driving but it offers gorgeous views across to Sleights. The cottage backs onto a church and its quirky side garden runs down the side of the church grounds so it’s very quiet and tranquil. Charlotte the owner texted the day before to check on details like having the loft room as a double or twin and there were plenty of welcome gifts for humans and dogs when we arrived. I booked for my Mam’s 70th and as a break during her chemotherapy. My Mam and Dad thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thank you for your review. We agree, the views are stunning. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and hope we can host you again one day. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Providence Cottage situated in a lovely part of Yorkshire central for visiting the coast and surrounding beautiful countryside."

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and homely especially the beds. Nice touches with the welcome pack for us and the dogs very much appreciated. Local village of Sleights provides a few shops and the butchers is well worth a visit to pick up something for tea .
