The weather was great. The cottage is delightful. The hot tub was a real treat and used daily. The only downside was that we didn’t book two weeks! We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay near Scarborough. We will be recommending it to our friends and we would definitely book this cottage again. The hosts were lovely too. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

The property

Boasting a lovely position on the fringes of the North York Moors National Park, with access to all the seaside delights of Scarborough, is The Pheasantry.

This stone-built, attached cottage offers a superb base for you to relax and unwind with your families or friends all the while making the most of the attractions in the area.

Head into the open-plan living room via the front patio and relax on the sofa with the glow of the woodburning stove to keep you toasty and warm in winter.

Move to the dining area and enjoy a home-cooked meal prepared in the modern-style kitchen, with a pleasant outlook over the front.

Spend your down time with a spot of TV, grab a good book for a quiet read or even get out a board game and enjoy late night chats with a bottle of wine.

The ground floor is complete with a lovely shower room, while the two double bedrooms rest upstairs.

Soak your muscles in your very own hot tub to the rear of the property and indulge after a long walk on the moors.

You have access to the Forge Valley Woods National Nature Reserve, which is of course teeming with a plethora of wildlife and an opportunity to get the family out in the fresh air along the River Derwent.
