  • “Carol was lovely. Nothing was any ...”
Carol was lovely. Nothing was any trouble, she will bend over backwards to help you. The property was great. Very clean, warm and comfortable and great for our dogs with the enclosed yard. We didn't want to leave. The house was decorated for Christmas and Carol presented us with a Christmas present as we left which I will always remember where they came from. Thank you! We will highly recommend this property. As for the area, there are many great little old pubs and plenty of other things to do ...

The property

Malton 3.5 miles.

This detached red brick bungalow is set amidst open farmland on the owner's mixed working farm, three and a half miles from the market town of Malton.

In a quiet, rural position, it is perfectly placed for a relaxing break, with easy access to wonderful countryside, the coast and the magnificent city of York.

With lovely views from all windows over the surrounding fields, there is a traditionally styled sitting room with a warming woodburning stove and a light and spacious modern kitchen, with a dining area to one end and French doors opening onto the rear patio.

Comfortably furnished with a welcoming feel, there is plenty of room to spread out in this pleasant holiday home.

Outside, are front and rear gardens, where guests can sit and enjoy the sunshine and in springtime, watch the lambs frolicking in the adjoining fields.

With a weekly market, the friendly and bustling town of Malton offers excellent amenities, with local inns, tea rooms, restaurants, art galleries and a superb renowned local butcher.

Ideal for walkers and cyclists, there is a good network of footpaths and quiet country lanes, whilst those less mobile will be delighted exploring the many nearby attractions, including the stately home of Castle Howard, Eden Camp War Museum, Flamingo Land and the popular seaside resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey.

A good base for a varied and interesting holiday.
