  • "The property is in a very convenient location to visit the local attractions and places of interest."

Pleasant Cottage was very comfortable, homely and extremely well equipped. We all had a very enjoyable family holiday. Tracy was very helpful and unobtrusive. The cottage would benefit from having a second shower in the en-suite to help get everybody showered in a short period of time.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. All agreed it exceeded our expectations. Keeping due distance the owners were charming and informative. When we arrived a thoughtful delicious lemon cake was waiting for us in the kitchen - it started the fun stay. Garden bigger and more private than expected. Everything in cottage was to a very comfortable, high standard. Not far from Coast and weather Improved enough for us to enjoy the Beach and explore the small villages. Our united view was ‘would love to have stayed another week.’

It was very clean and Tracy and Patrick made us very welcome, even to providing fresh milk in the fridge and a home-made Victoria sponge cake and a jar of doggie treats. It is not surprising that this cottage is almost fully booked for most of this year!

The character filled cottage was cosy and pretty and ideal with its own enclosed garden for our three spaniels. The owners were kind and helpful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a secluded holiday home with great facilities. Thank you for providing us with such a lovely place in which to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Very homely and comfortable. Owners very helpful and friendly. Everything has been thought off ,even the use of a tumble dryer which came in handy, with my son rolling around playing football , getting grubby. Very dog friendly with walks on doorstep and plenty of towels and throws provided for the dog. Also gave us the use of a hose to clean off the mud. ( From the dog not from my son )☺️ 10/10

The cottage was very comfortable, nicely decorated and was in a lovely country setting. We arrived to lots of snow and on the first day walked out of the cottage door along footpaths through a snowy wood, down to a river, visited an ancient Church and then back across fields, admiring all the wildlife such as deer, Highland cattle and of course many beautiful pheasants - instant relaxation. On arrival Tracy was very helpful showing us how to use everything in the house and gave us plenty of info on where was good to eat.We found a lovely homemade fruit cake in the kitchen too! Would highly recommend!

  • "Great little cottage, well secured garden, felt safe in the knowledge that our dog was secure."

Had guests for dinner and the dinner service provided us with everything for a nice table, a well thought out kitchen for cooking. Our favourite thing, however, was the log fire, although not really needed in early October we lit it just to look at it. The hosts were always there should we ever need them, however, did not interfere and would like to give them 10 out of 10 for friendliness. We will return and great walks for the dog.
