Comprising of only 10 houses that were mostly built to service Langton Farm as Crofters Cottages, with it’s history originally tied to agricultural use. Situated one mile from Gainford which has Anglo Saxon and Roman origins. Gainford is situated on the River Tees, stunning views abound in every direction. Langton sits on of The Way of Life, one of the Northern Saints Trails, from Gainford to Durham. The walk is a huge 47km in total, starting at St Mary’s Well in Gainford and eventually leading to the shrine of St Cuthbert in Durham Cathedral.
