Oak tree cottage was perfect is very modern and the kitchen diner lounge were just right if u like to cook everything you need is there .

Bed very comfortable and plenty of drawer space with hangers over bedroom and bathroom doors for clothes shower room great right size and easy to use. Used garden to sit in as v hot whilst there and peaceful Owner is lovely very friendly and helpful with the surrounding areas. Came over to chat whilst in garden and is very approachable. Would love to come back again .

Felt like the owner whanted our custom but didn’t want us there

This was my second visit to Oak Tree cottage and again the cottage was spotless very comfortable and well equipped.

We stayed at Oak Tree Cottage near Beverley and it didnt dissapoint us.

It had everything you needed, especially kitchen accessories. Comfortable bed Setee was little low for me, but that was just me with a bad back. Fabulous location, very private garden. Lovely Collie Dogs.

The cottage is so lovely.

Compact but it has everything we needed. Very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and chatty. Leven is large village with a nice friendly pub but it doesn't do food, there is a smashing Chinese opposite the pub which is very good. All in all we had a lovely weeks holiday I would recommended the cottage.

We had a lovely weekend the cottage was excellent, well equipped, very clean comfy bed couldn’t fault it.

Louise came and explained how everything worked she also left tea coffee biscuit's milk and some free range eggs. Lovely lady.

We stayed there with our 2 dogs for several weeks until our new home was ready to move into, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Accommodation is first class, everything we needed for a long stay was there in the cottage. The owners Mike and Louise couldn't have been more helpful, and the village is a very friendly place. We would highly recommend staying here.

Spent 4 days taking dogs with me to funeral wedding Church shopping and family meal so cages were in and out of the car every time not restful or easy.

WHEN i WALKED YOUNGER DOG OLDER DOG WAS LOCKED IN CAR tHIS COULD HAVE LED TO REPERCUSSIONS LUCKILY WEATHER WAS NOT HOT AS COULD NOT LEAVE DOG EVEN CAGED IN COTTAGE. nOT IDEAL AS THIS WAS NOT A HOLIDAY TRIP BUT AFAMILY EVENT. wHOLE TIME SPENT IN COTTAGE WAS STRESSFUL. nO WALKS FOR DOGS OR HUMANS SUGGESTED AND THERE WERE WALKS LOCALLY AS i DISCOVERED FROM OTHER DOG OWNERS

Property was exactly as advertised.

Clean and functional. Louise was very pleasant to deal with and gave us good advice on the area. Leven is centrally located to all the sites in East Yorkshire. Shout out to Bert’s in Brandesburton!!

Wow, so so clean, absolutely spotless, very comfortable, lovely touch, fresh eggs and milk plus biscuits.

So quiet as well, lovely little shared garden for the dogs, Louise and her lovely mum were very helpful and friendly. If I had one niggle and it is a minor one it’s the lack of anywhere to dispose of dog waste. It’s not allowed in dustbin so you have to take it out with you to dispose of it so a separate doggy bin would be good but that’s just me. On the whole wonderful holiday,lovely doggy beaches. Just loved it.

Sociable owners. Lovely touch of free range eggs on arrival alongside tea and coffee. Would have liked to have been able to smoke in the garden but I can appreciate that others do not clean up after themselves. We enjoyed our stay very much

Enjoyed our stay, welcoming owners appreciated the eggs and milk, nice enclosed garden on our list for another visit.

A wooden chopping board would have been appreciated.

That is our one criticism of our otherwise excellent accomodation.

Although everything was there, felt like a doctors waiting room in the living area, waited to be called in from a small uncomfortable sofa.

Privacy was also an issue as there were people coming past either to go to the side garden from next door or to change gas bottles, dustbins etc, On the face of it the place was well equipped but poor storage for clothes etc was problematic, the position of the bed was in front of the emergency window, trying to work out how we would escape this way [especially my husband who is disabled with mobility issues].

Well equipped cottage great for the dog walks from the door for exercise and secure garden.

Good location not far from Driffield and the coast.

Hi stayed oak tree cottage for a week it was clean comfy and great location for getting around East Yorkshire .

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The only negative comment I have is that we stayed during a very hot week and I found the cottage to be too hot and hard to ventilate. Otherwise it was very good.

Great location with easy access to Beverley, Hornsea and surrounding area. So beautifully quiet, but not remote. Shop, butchers, pharmacy and 2 pubs all within easy walking distance. The owner very friendly, and helpful.

There is a very good bathroom, with a shower that was suitable for me to use. The owners are very friendly, Mrs Bowser recommended places for us to visit. Leaven is an interesting village

The cottage does what it says on the tin and it is brilliantly located - near the seaside, near Beverley etc with easy access, and set in lovely fields and a pleasant village with local pubs.

Nice warm welcome from owner Louise. Great dog friendly local pub. Not a great deal to do locally without a decent drive out to places but a good location for a relaxing short break. It was a little expensive for the size of the property but despite that it was a really lovely stay and great for small dog or two.

Place was clean and well presented, there were some fresh eggs and milk left for our arrival along with coffees and teas. Linen and towels were soft and smelt beautiful. Overall a lovely stay.

Excellent accommodation, very well equipped, handy for all of East Yorkshire.

Used the local bus into Beverley too (would also have given direct access to Bridlington, Hornsea and Hull). Very welcoming hosts, enjoyed the free range eggs!!

The cottage was very nice and clean with every facility you would require.

The only thing I would like to mention to guests is that the bed is set in to a frame. I unfortunately knocked my legs on 2 occasions trying to get passed it and ended up with very big bruises ego both sides either side.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed for a short break with our 2 dogs Only problem for some visitors it’s a semi detached property and some noise could be heard from next door and there was a shared garden This was not evident from the description

The spotless cottage was lovely, warm and cosy to come back to after a day exploring.

There were lots of places to walk our dog and a lot of the pubs and restaurants are also dog friendly. There is so much to see and do in the area and the owner Louise was so friendly and helpful, we are definitely going to return.

This month we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing at tranquility base on the lunar sea of tranquility, my wife and I feel that we have discovered tranquility base here on planet earth in oak tree cottage.

Over the years we have stayed in many cottages in various parts of the uk and for us this one has been by far the top of our pops.the cottage was spotless clean, exceptionally well facilitated and ideally situated for reaching the many attractions and places to visit that East Yorkshire and the coastline has to offer.Our hostess Louise was excellent in providing a lovely welcome pack, help,and guidance as and when we required it.This cottage is one that we shall definitely return to in the future and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending oak tree cottage to anyone seeking a real value for money venue in this magical location. Excellent cottage, small but nothing else was needed, made very welcome on arrival and was perfect for the dogs.

Lavatory paper in short supply.

Just enough for the first night and morning. We normally expect a new roll plus a spare. Unsatisfactory toaster. Not a recognised make. The electricity in the cottage went off when we attempted to toast slices of currant bread. Even ordinary bread toasted unevenly on the two sides. Suggest a better quality toaster is provided to replace it.

Oak Tree Cottage is great and I would highly recommend it to other visitors.

It is in a great location with good road access to lots of places including Beverley and Bridlington. The cottage is well equipped and comfortably furnished to a high standard. It is immaculately clean and very easy to keep tidy; it also has its own private parking space. The Bowser family are lovely and close at hand should their guests need anything.

We arrived at the cottage slightly earlier than planned, but we were met by the owner who gave us a very warm welcome.

There was a pint of milk in the fridge alongside 6 free range eggs. The accommodation was excellent. We found it warm and cosy, very clean and tidy and the facilities in the cottage were second to none. We would recommend this accommodation to anybody wanting to explore East Yorkshire. Super, well done the owners.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Oak Tree Cottage and again the cottage was perfect , so clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly want to ensure an enjoyable stay.

Also set in a very peaceful location. The cottage is situated in a perfect location for touring the East Riding of Yorkshire and the Wolds. The owners are very sociable and extremely helpful. We highly recommended this cottage.

We were returning to East Yorkshire so that I could relive my student days at Hull University but wanted to stay somewhere peaceful and relaxing.

Couldn't have chosen a better place! The cottage was in a lovely location with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Pretty garden and good quality furnishings. Louise was a very welcoming host - happy to help us with questions we had about the area. We would also recommend the nearby pub - The New Inn for a very friendly and comfortable place to eat and socialise. Welcoming to children with good food at very reasonable prices. We really relaxed and recharged our batteries! Also the city tour of Hull with Paul Schofield was fascinating and well worth considering.
