“This was our second visit to these cottages and had a wonderful time thanks mainly to the warm welcome by the owner Louise.”

She left coffee, tea, milk and eggs on arrival which was a lovely touch

Leven Cottages

These two attractive barn conversions, adjoin the owner's property in the East Yorkshire village of Leven, close to Beverley and Hornsea. Finished to a high standard, they have retained the original arched windows and share an enclosed sunny lawned garden with summerhouse. Inside, they have contemporary well-equipped kitchens and modern shower rooms. Comfortably furnished, they have a lovely homely feel and provide welcoming accommodation throughout. Surrounded by open countryside, there is a public footpath from the doorstep and the excellent village facilities are a short stroll, with a wide range of amenities. They provide a good base from which to explore the nearby east coast seaside towns, including Hornsea and the beautiful headland at Flamborough. The market town of Beverley with its minster, is just five miles away and offers a wide range of affluent retail shops, galleries, restaurants and a regular market. The popular racecourse lies alongside the golf course, which both skirt Beverley Westwood, a common land which is a great place to take your dog. With the rolling chalk hills of the Wolds and the spectacular City of York easy drives away there is plenty to occupy all the family.
