Very close to Scarborough and the village has a shop just in case you need it. Dog safe garden and beds very comfy. Thought of everything to help make the stay great - thanks very much

  • "Spacious property in a good location for both Scarborough and Whitby."

Enclosed garden ideal for dogs, several steps outside and inside house which made it less toddler friendly. Lovely welcome pack left and a delicious chocolate cake, owners very helpful and welcoming, many thanks for sharing your house we all had a great holiday.

  • "The holiday home was absolutely lovely."

So many thoughtful finishing touches, including a welcome bottle of prosecco and a delicious chocolate cake. Everywhere was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and there was a large garden and decking area. Only downside was our large dog is elderly and couldn't walk down the many little steep sets of steps down into the garden. Overall we had a wonderful time staying in this well equipped and spacious home.

  • "The house was beautiful."

Very spacious & was like home from home. Also spotlessly clean. It has everything you need. All the beds were so comfortable too. The hotub & bar was a fabulous feature to the beautiful garden. Especially in the perfect hot weather we were lucky enough to have. The welcome pack was a beautiful gesture, this included prosecco, chocolate cake, bread, cleaning materials etc. There is a couple of pubs a two minute drive away or 15 minute walk from the house. They are both really nice. My family had the best time ever.

There were 6 adults and 2 dogs, there was plenty of room and the garden was very safe for the dogs. The hot tub was fab. The house is a really good base as there are many places to see and enjoy. We will definitely return

  • "What a fabulous property really spacious with plenty of room for everyone to relax."

Cleaned to a very high spec with all necessary equipment for self catering. The owners had decorated it for Christmas inside and out. It was like walking onto a movie set. The hot tub was fantastic. The garden was totally enclosed so we did not have to keep a constant eye on our fur babies. We all loved every minute of our stay and would definitely stay again and have recommended it to all our friends.

The house was welcoming with an amazing hamper when we got there, even things left for our dogs. Overall really lovely place to stay and either relax or explore. Local pub also did delicious food.

  • "The house is beautiful, we had a fantastic time."

The extra touches were really lovely, we arrived to a chocolate cake, a loaf of fresh bread and a little pack with tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, cleaning stuff etc. There were fresh flowers on the tables, the dining table was decorated with little pots of conserves and other bits, it felt very homely. We will definitely be returning and taking new guests when we are allowed. We loved the hot tub and the games room especially! Thanks To “ the Jenkins” for a wonderful weekend!

  • "We had a fabulous week at Castle View."

We felt very safe at all times. The house was spotless and great thought had gone in to COVID-19 cleanliness including hand wash, hand cream, cleaning products etc. Castle View is an amazing property, there is everything you need for a week away. There was nothing that wasn’t there that we needed. The care package left for your arrival is wonderful and the chocolate cake from the local grocers was divine. So good that we phoned and asked the owners where it was from so we could call and get one on the way home. Thank you very much for another fabulous holiday which was well needed in these strange times.
