What a wonderful cottage, all amenities you could wish for, great walks straight from the front door.

cottage is in a great place for owners with dogs and for exploring the coast loads of walking we enjoyed our stay

Seaside cottage was perfect in every way.

Great location for coastal walks and a short drive to nearby towns and villages. It was so comfy and cosy and had everything you could possibly need. I don't think we've ever stayed in a more well equipped holiday home. It was fantastic. We will definitely return.

The Seaside House was perfect in every way.

Clean and comfortable. A real home from home and stylish too. Has everything you could possibly need. Milk and biscuits were a lovely welcome too. A couple of minutes walk and you're on the Cleveland way and the beach, which was exactly what we wanted. And you can see the sea from the master bedroom. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely property - loved the decor, soft furnishings, up-cycled furniture and the finishes in all the rooms.

I loved the tiles in the bathroom, the board finish in the kitchen and the boat picture/panel in the kitchen. Bed was super comfy and the shower was great. It was the perfect base for me walking part of the Cleveland Way - from Port Mulgrave to Saltburn in one direction and Port Mulgrave to Whitby in the other. The bus service along the coast is also very good. Location was peaceful and the view out to sea from the road alongside the houses was stunning. Great House - I was really pleased to have chosen it and would happily recommend !

We had a lovely stay at The Seaside House, it was really cosy and homely and had everything we needed.

The beds were all comfortable and the shower was great. The walks from the end of the road to Staithes or Runswick Bay were fantastic. It's a great base to explore the coast and hunt for fossils! We'd definitely stay again.

Everything was good and well provided.

Only thing we would suggest is an additional hand rail on the very steep staircase

Lovely terraced cottage that is so much more spacious on the inside.

Two seating areas and large kitchen with loads of small appliances.

The cottage was OK but the stairs were difficult for my friend who struggled with the steepness and the fact there was only one handrail.

Parking was difficult and we weren't warned about that. The cottage seemed very cluttered, but it was comfortable and the heating worked easily.

Very comfy cottage with nice decor, kitchen better-equipped than our own and with good shower and comfortable king-sized bed in main bedroom In a quiet location with access to walks in 3 directions.

Appreciate the owner’s attention to detail such as safety lights on the stairs, they’ve tried to think of anything and everything that might be needed during a stay, we couldn’t fault it.

Home was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Really well positioned to see the North Yorkshire Coast either by car or walking the Cleveland way, which is a few hundred yards away. So many beautiful places within a short drive. The parking isn't guaranteed close to the cottage but plenty on the road nearby. We struggled to find the cottage initially because the entrance is around the back of the property but fine once you figure that out. Short walk into the village of Hinderwell is nice with a choice of 2 pubs, a cafe and a fish and chip shop. No shop but this is a couple of mins drive away.

This cottage was in a lovely spot, ideal to use as a base for Whitby etc, we really enjoyed Seaside Cottage, very well stocked with plates glasses etc lovely comfy bed, everywhere very clean & every appliance you can think of.

We will definitely book this cottage again.

The host was very responsive and helpful. Fabulous walks in the area and no shortage of great places to eat and drink. Will definitely be returning!!

We had a great time at The Seaside House and would highly recommend.

Everything you need in this small but very quaint cottage and comfy and cosy at night. Great location with Staithes and Runswick Bay either side of Port Mulgrave on the Cleveland Way. Hope to be back in the future.

Would just say the carpet on the stairs needs some extra tacks and another hand rail would be a great help

Lovely cosy cottage.

Bed super comfy and cosy. Nice to have proper sofas, some places we have stayed at they have been less than comfy. Very well equiped kitchen or though a sharp knife would have been nice, had trouble slicing food. Appologies if there was one and i didn't find it !. Great location right on coastal path. Loved the extra touches for the pooches( bed ,bowls, bickys and even a lead ) did bring my own but if you had forgotten any. Very relaxing few days, thanks

Fantastic stay was a home away from home.

Everything you needed was there, the beds were comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay very much within easy reach of many places of interest either walking or by car.

The seaside house offered a relaxing place to put our feet up after our walks, lovely decor and a well appointed kitchen and bathroom.

Excellent cottage, would definitely return, very comfortable and has everything one would need.

We had a lovely break.

The cottage is cosy and well-appointed, with particularly comfy beds and a great shower. It was a great base to explore Whitby (especially by steam train) and Staithes (great views from the cliffside path).
