Describe the accommodation as adequate needs decorating.

In various areas plus a good clean especially oven and skirting boards also was very wary of going through the "tunnel" to the accommodation from the car park

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this accommodation, perfectly situated in the center of town, ideal if you don`t have a car.

It was warm and quiet even though situated near the convenient car park. I was happy to give 5 stars not because it had gold taps on the bath but because it was good accommodation for a fair price. Having a dish washer was a bonus. Would recommend to friends who wished to visit this area of Yorkshire.

Upon entering from the mews corridor messy needed swept.

Shared patio full of dead leafs. Dead plants in tubs, door to corridor rotten so won't close. Overgrown plant on stairs making it difficult to go upstairs with xases or shopping. Entering the property the smell of dampness was very obvious and felt extremely cold. Only 1 radiator in the living room and was not enough to heat the room we had to get a duvet over us toarm up. Windows were very dirty inside and out. All tv screens not cleaned properly. Front door needs a curtain over it as the wind blows through it. Kitchen was colder than you could imagine. Dishwasher left bits on the clean dishes. Kingsize bed matress is dreadful you can feel every metal spring, tried for 2 nights all we got were sleepless nights, ended up sleeping on the single beds. None of the bedding fitted the matress and pillows if poor quality. The bathroom was so cold it was a trial to have a shower, shower curtain mouldy, most unpleasant. Bathroom needs updating desperately, fan heater to heat which us no good, all that did was heat the edge of the sink!! The wall in the bedroom has a serious damp problem paint coming off on your fingers. The footstools in the living room are "shedding" all over the floor, gave up hoovering because everytime you even touched them black PVC covering was all over the floor. The overflow from the bathroom ran constantly outside the bedroom window soaking the wall and the ground outside which I suspect us adding to the damp issue. The whole place needs a bit of work but the bathroom needs a serious upgrade and some form of heating in there. Maybe you should look at the property through a renters eyes and you will see, and if even some of these issues for yourself. I hope you see this as constructive criticism.

Really enjoyed our stay.

The flat is warm, clean and comfortable, and in a great location. It is well eqipped and has everything you need. Malton is a lovely place, and has good transport links. Would stay again, and recommend.

Lovely property, reasonably priced and perfect for our needs for the week.

It is very centrally located for shops, restaurants and the railway and bus stations. Malton is a very friendly little town.

Good size accommodation located in heart of town and close to train and bus stations if you wish to leave the car at home.

Although in middle of town and on edge of a car park, location was very quiet. A car park permit is provided which can also be used in Helmsley and Pickering which is an added bonus. Only negative is the outside shared courtyard needs some TLC and the wooden bench is not fit for purpose. Definitely use this accommodation again when next in North Yorkshire.

Perfect flat for two people, in a great situation very near the train and bus stations, and Morrisons.

Well kept and very comfortable, especially loved having footstools and side tables, both very rare in holiday properties! The only slight disappointment was the outdoor seating area, not well maintained and a wooden seat that looked unsafe.

A very comfortable and clean property, ideally positioned in Malton Town Centre.

Great base from which to visit all major attractions. First time away with our 12 year old Grandson who thought it was great too!!

Fantastic location, a little tricky to find at first but nothing that spoiled the property. The property was spotlessly clean with everything you needed for an enjoyable holiday. Malton is such a lovely town. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and using the same property,

1 Roger’s Mews provides a great base for exploring the area, it’s equally distanced between York, Whitby and Scarborough where we spent our days out. The apartment is centrally placed in Malton, which has some nice shops and takeaways all in walking distance. The bonus for us was the electric car chargers in the public car park next door. The apartment is located at the edge of a car park and so views from each window are pretty much car park, but as I said we chose this as a weekend base for our exploring. There is an apartment above and sound proofing isn’t fantastic (woke up to their 6.30am alarm Saturday morning that went on for so long I began to think I’d accidentally set my own alarm!). However Sunday morning we did manage to lie-in and had no further issues. Sofa and beds both comfy and kitchen well equipped. Enjoyed our stay and would consider another visit due to location and EV chargers (paid public ones).

Lived in Malton most my life and never knew it was there.

Nice stay at 1rogers mews , my only bug bear was the couch in the sitting room it was so uncomfortable and very difficult for older people to get up from

An ideal apartment in a very suitable location.

Everything in easy walking distance. The only difficulty is the access, not sure if this is mentioned in the listing for this property. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with absolutely no complaints.

Good value accommodation in a central location.

It worked really well for us as we were on the train and the flat is so handy for the station and the coastliner bus. It's also a very short walk to the market place. The photos are very accurate as to what to expect. We liked that there was good natural light in the living room and bedrooms, plenty of storage space and the kitchen was well-equipped. Libby was very helpful, giving clear arrival instructions and responding quickly to a small query I had. We'd happily stay again, perhaps driving next time, taking advantage of the parking permit provided.

This property provided everything needed for a comfortable stay.

However, the living room has a serious problem with dampness penetrating the walls. The smell of dampness is immediately apparent on entering the property and the owners must also be aware of it. Paint is flaking from the walls around the windows with wet-staining visible in places. For the money charged, I expect a property to be in better physical condition than this.

Lovely place, very clear instructions about key collection from Libby, easy to park, very handy for station, supermarkets, and town.

Could do with a washing machine for longer stays (we were there a week) and the bed and pillows were very hard, but that's just personal preference. It was well equipped, which made self-catering very easy. We loved our stay here, and we had a really lovely time in Malton, which is beautiful.

Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The property is in a great location. However we felt there could be a few improvements made. The sofa is far to big which means there is not much room for the table and chairs, which are not comfortable to sit at. The bathroom door doesn't shut very well, the door needs planed as you need to force it shut. The bathroom needs an upgrade, there is nowhere to hang towels or put toiletries. They could do with getting a clothes airer or something to hang things up. The pillows are flat and could do with being replaced. You cant fault this property on location. Just needs a few improvements and it would be great.

Lovely place had everything we could of possibly asked for just had some huge cobwebs around and a bit more detail on cleaning but would not stop me rebooking as the place was amazing

A well equipped, comfortable flat with eveything you might need.

The location, near to bars and restaurants, is excellent and Malton itself is a prime location for exploring North Yorkshire. We had an enjoyable stay and would certainly go back if we wanted to stay in that part of Yorkshire again.

We stayed at 1 Rodgers Mews for the May food festival.

The property is perfectly located for using buses or trains to get around North Yorkshire. Train station and bus stops just around the corner. Can easily get to Flamingo Land, Castle Howard, York, Leeds, Scarborough and Whitby. The property is very clean and comfortable. Owner communicated well and even gave us early access to the property which was a nice surprise. Good restaurants and pubs close by. Good WiFi and comfortable beds. New pillows would be only improvement I would suggest, very flat and uncomfortable. Book this place, it’s an ideal base for exploring the area, it’s a lovely cosy place to return to after a busy day.

good layout of furniture and had everything we needed.Good range of kitchen ware. Sensible to have fold down table and chairs. Great to have parking permit which took us to Pickering too ! Great location for trains to York, Scarborough.

Lovely comfy apartment.

Never know you are in the middle of a town as it's so quiet. TV in both bedrooms, which is a nice touch. Super comfy sofa in the lounge. No complaints at all. Check in was a doddle and the parking permit was in the flat.

It was in a very central location but quiet- you wouldn't know you were in the middle of a town.

It is comfortable , clean and warm. It is in an ideal location to explore North Yorkshire and Malton itself has many independent shops and eating places. We were delighted to find the train station within easy walking distance and visited both York and Scarborough by train. We would highly recommend Rodgers Mews

Very enjoyable stay, fully recommend it, the location the centre, comfortable wonderful beds and quiet, can not hear traffic noise.

Everything is within a short walking distance, shops, cafes and restaurants. Would definitely book again. The heating system is also of note which is excellent for the colder months. :-)

A great base to visit the surrounding area.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. My only gripe would be that we could’ve done with a hand towel each. Other than that we had a lovely break away.

Apartment had everything we needed and is in a great location for amenities and attractions. We even stuck it lucky with timing when we got to enjoy the music from the meadowfest festival at the Talbot a few doors away. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say as we all loved it. Thank you so much and we will definitely be hoping to return in the future and hopefully for a longer stay.

The property was lovely and clean and in a brilliant location so close to bus and train station, asda, Morrisons, chemist!

Malton is a beautiful place with plenty of places to have a drink and something to eat. We used it as a base to go to York, Whitby, Scarborough etc
