Very friendly and helpful owners, we would happily return.

  • "My family and I visited Bailey Cottage for a week in April to celebrate my wife’s retirement."

The cottage is situated in a quiet village but with a local pub that serves decent food and is very welcoming. The cottage itself is superb. It has all the necessary equipment needed in the kitchen including three ovens, large fridge freezer, washing machine and drier. The bedrooms are well furnished and the beds are very comfortable. There are three bathrooms and a downstairs toilet and a comfortable lounge. We couldn’t have asked for more and we fully enjoyed our week and would recommend the cottage to anyone.

  • "Absolutely fabulous stay for 6 people!"

The house was stunning, had everything you needed for a home from home. Beautiful open kitchen with every utensil ypu could think of, lots of cleaning products, a cute little biscuit hamper, wine and milk on arrival. The property also benefitted with a large garden, with wooden games, a tennis court and swimming pool (although we knew thiswl was closed in winter). Would happily return for a visit in summer too!

  • "Absolutely immaculate house."

On 3 levels, so it took our little dog a couple of days knowing which stairs went where! Such a comfy lounge, with a wood burner, wow does it throw some heat out with only 1 log burning! A fantastically equipped kitchen, 4 beautiful bedrooms, you could want for nothing. A very thoughtful welcome basket, plus a huge box of chocolates as it was my birthday whilst here. Shame about the weather, but end of January never is nice, but at least we went out every day. Would stay here again. Thank you to the owners.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Bailey house and enjoyed being together as a family."

It was good to relax and ease into the new year gently. We’d love to stay again and will have a Labrador with us next time, so very happy with how dog friendly the property is. Beautiful spacious accommodation, and very cosy in winter with ground source heating and a great log burner. We can definitely recommend the Star Inn down in the village, a warm welcome and lovely food.
