  • "Lovely cottage!"

    We stayed for a week with our dog and found it to be the perfect place to explore from. We were very comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed.

  • "Perfect property for the two of us and our small dog."

    The garden was properly enclosed so our dog could enjoy it safely. The cottage was clean and well furnished and equipped for two people. Some more crockery, cutlery etc would be helpful if more than two people staying. The beds were comfy and the shower was super powerful. It is an end terrace cottage so you are in close proximity to neighbours when in the garden though this didn’t cause us any issues. The cottage is on the main road through the village and the traffic can be noisy especially when few stick to the 30mph speed limit but we only noticed this when in the lounge during the daytime which wasn’t very often. The village is lovely with loads of walks to choose from straight from the door. It is well located for visiting other parts of East Yorkshire. The Star Inn in the village is dog and people friendly and the food and ambiance are great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Fern Cottage and would recommend it highly.

  • "A beautiful clean, well looked after little cottage with comfy beds."

  • "Fern cottage is a lovely place to stay."

    It was beautifully presented and really cosy. We had everything we needed for our short stay. The outside space was nice and secure for our two dogs. The village was lovely and the Star Inn down the road is worth a visit.

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Fern Cottage it was very clean and well equipped."

    The sofa we found a little uncomfortable, but that may just be us, and what we are used to. The garden was secure for our dog and she enjoyed her stay here as well. Parking at the rear of the property was no problem.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fern Cottage."

    The house was stocked with all of the necessary supplies that made it a home away from home. The bed and bedding was so comfortable (it was just the two of us so we did not use the second bedroom). The location was perfect for all of our day trips and situated nicely to a local pub. Thank you to the owners that put in so much effort to this gorgeous home.

  • "Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the countryside."

    A great base to explore the surrounding villages and towns. Not the biggest, but it has everything you need and is reflected in the price. With one dog and one toddler we were more than comfortable. The place was very clean, the beds were super comfortable and toiletries a nice touch. 5 stars!

  • "Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable."

    Nice walks and pub just a short stroll away. Welcome pack with milk, cake, tea and coffee. Dog friendly with secure garden. Visit Bridlington South Beach endless clean sandy dog friendly Beach. We had a lovely time. Thank you Jane for your assistance when we misplaced our door key.

  • "We had a great time at the cottage it was beautiful lovely enclosed garden for our dog and the bed was lovely and comfy."

    The only things we could fault was no iron and no baking trays apart from that everything was great will definitely book again

  • "Lovely cottage, recently refurbished to a very high standard."

    The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We would definitely return. No need to publish this bit, just for the owners info: A couple of coat hooks on the back of the kitchen door and bathroom door would have been really useful, as would a coffee table (even a tiny one) in the lounge as there's nowhere to put drinks when you're on the sofa.
