  • "The house is like a home from home."

Location could not be any better, within 30 seconds of walking out of the front door you have sand between your toes. Off road parking for your vehicle if required is also provided. The kitchen diner is perfect for nights in, whilst the rear garden benefits from sun all day long and the summer house is a nice area for drinks or even play house for the kids. Marske along with neighbouring Redcar and Saltburn are delightful, even out of season. The host is always on hand with recommendations or if a problem should arise. Would love to visit again.

Plenty of outside space too with a nice sea view. Very close to the beach so perfect for walks with our dog. Marske has just enough shops and pubs for supplies/places to eat. Would definitely recommend this property. Sykes/the owner were efficient and kept us informed leading up to our stay so no hassles whatsoever. Well done.

  • "We booked Seaview for its proximity to the beach, but the property has much more to offer, it's spacious and well equipped for a family holiday and the garden space was great, offering the flexibility of al fresco dining, and a safe enclosed space for our dog."

We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals, and the little extras were a nice touch. John the owner was attentive checking we were ok, and that he was just a text away should we need anything. Thanks for a lovely holiday, we would definitely book again.

  • "From the minute we arrived we were blown away by the quality and the attention to detail of Seahouse."

The property was toasty warm and smelt clean! The accommodation was spacious but cosey enough also. The garden was prefect for our cocker spaniel, it was dog safe. The biggest positive for us was the close proximity to the beach! Perfect for two boys who wanted to go paddling in the North Sea in November! It was just a quick stroll down (approx 150yards) to the beach was really clean and dog friendly. We walked into Redcar along the beach which was a lovely flat walk and took approx 1.5hrs. We all agreed we can’t wait to come back again next year, possibly in the summer to take full advantage of the decked area and garden house, I would imagine it’s a bit of a sun trap! Thanks you so much we have a lovely time x

Nice, friendly neighbours too. Exceptional beach, with miles of relatively empty, rolling sands - ideal for children and doggie, and we enjoyed the daily family walks. Friendly, helpful hosts. Impressive range of shops available, for food and drink (therefore, quality self-catering). A gem of a property. Have just rebooked property for next year.

We stayed for a long weekend early February with our 2 dogs. The garden was totally enclosed & our dogs loved the space. We loved the fact that the road the house is on became the sandy beach. Great dog walks in both directions along the beach to Saltburn & Redcar. Perfectly placed for trips out. We visited Staithes & Whitby. Great lunch the day we arrived at “ In the Dog House” in Marske. Owner contacted us during our stay to check everything was ok. Couldn’t fault it. Wished we had been there for a week.

The house was very clean apart from the windows, all were in need of a good clean. Also the reading states that all fuel was included however, we only had enough wood to light a fire, not even enough to last the evening. The location is amazing only a couple of minutes walk to the beach, the house is lovely, well set out and there was plenty of room. The views to the sea were stunning both in and out of the house. Nice easy walks to two other towns and plenty in the village to give you what you needed. Lovely fish and chips at the Sea Breeze in the village.
