Driftwood House

Driftwood house was a lovely clean and comfortable house in a very convenient position.

Everything was there that we needed for a very comfortable stay. Pre arrival and contact details were also readily available from the owners. We would thoroughly recommend Driftwood house and will certainly book it again.

Lovely spacious house bonus having a private garden. Very central for shops,beach,park etc. Can park in car park. We do enjoy our time in Marske-by-the-sea. Would definitely return.

A lovely cottage in a perfect location!

Warm comfortable and well equipped house, bright and airy central for everything you need from the shops but a 15 minute walk to the beach.

We parked in the free public car park just across the road you can check your car from the house. Safe fenced front and back garden safe for a dog and sunny if it's out.

This is a beautiful house.

It's got everything you could possibly need and is so central. There are bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Marske is a nice town and close to Saltburn, both have lovely beaches. I would definitely return to this house if I was back in this area.

Beautiful home in an ideal situation.

Lots of places to visit. Would love to see an easy chair/small sofa in the dining room for our next visit to enjoy the view of the garden from indoors.

Equipped really well and well looked after. The beds were very Comfortable no problem nodding off.

Overall very good apart from a not very clean oven and a filthy shower .

mat and hairtrap plug ! However the garden was really nice and enclosed for our dog.The property is very well placed for all local facilities and a short walk to a fabulous beach.Would book again.

Such a lovely spacious and comfortable house in good position in Marske by the Sea which is a very friendly little town with shops and good eateries.

Enclosed garden, ideal for our dog. Parking we found easy in free car park opposite the house. Only 10 mins walk to the beach. We hope to be back.

Driftwood House is a welcoming place to stay.

It is spacious, well-equipped and very convenient for all Marske’s attractions. The beds are comfortable and it is very cosy. We were very glad about this because the weather was extremely cold during our stay. We had no trouble finding a space in the car park but wondered if this would be the case in the height of the season. However buses to Redcar and Saltburn stop nearby so we didn’t have to use or move the car much. A great find and a great property for holidaying in this wonderful area.

A home from home. Nice and warm, clean and cozy. Had everything we needed. Close to local amenities, bars, shops and takeaways nearby. Beach 10 mins away. Happy days

Perfect holiday home.

Has everything you need and more. One of the best holiday homes we have stayed in and hope to return soon as we loved the accommodation and area.

Great to have an enclosed garden. Parking space at the back lane, outside the back gate. Great location for bars and shops and takeaways. The beach is awesome, and dog friendly. Very lucky with the weather. And great communication from Cassie the owner.

I want to rate this as 11/10.

Not because everything was perfect, but when there was an issue it was very promptly resolved. First class. Impressed. That is a mark of quality. Will definitely look to using again when we next visit this area.

We had a brilliant week long stay at Driftwood House with our Boston Terrier.

It is a lovely home with everything we needed including the enclosed garden which our little dog enjoyed, the bed was very comfy and the whole place was clean and inviting. Cassie the owner was great at providing information prior to our arrival. Marske is a lovely village with everything we needed, we took advantage of the unseasonably good weather for January and enjoyed some long beach walks and walks along part if the Cleveland way from Saltburn. We would definitely recommend Driftwood House and would stay here again thank you for a lovely stay

Ideally situated in the town of Marske and provides easy access for coastal walks.

Plenty of amenities well within walking distance. The property provided exactly what we required.

Very clean and comfortable it was a home from home

We have had a lovely weeks stay, the property is tastefully decorated and extremely clean and well appointed.

It is in a good position being in close proximity to shops, restaurants and takeaways and a nice stroll through valley gardens down to the beach.The accommodation is dog friendly with a fully enclosed back garden. There are plenty of places/attractions to visit if you want to go further a field. The owner Cassie was very approachable and addressed any minor issues immediately and curiously. I would definitely recommend Driftwood house to friends and family ,and hope to return in the future

We have had a wonderful 4 night stay in Driftwood house Marske by the sea.

Everything we needed was supplied and the house was lovely, warm and homely. Our little dog loved the enclosed garden, it makes a big difference. Shops pubs and eateries all in walking distance. Surrounding area lovely especially Staithes. Can't thank owners enough for our lovely stay. We will be back!!!!! Sue Ronnie and Molly x

Had a lovely stay from 18th to 23rd September.

The house is perfect for a couple or a family. We had one small dog and one handbag size dog with us and they loved the pretty enclosed garden. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Spotlessly clean home. Everything you need is supplied except a hairdryer which would have been helpful. Marske is a beautiful wee town with friendly people. Would highly recommend Driftwood House for a long or short stay.

Lovely comfy house to stay in, with quality furnishing & fittings

Had a Lovely Stay at Driftwood House.

..... Area very user friendly with wide well paved paths, Free Toilets and Free Parking. People in the area were very welcoming. The house catered very well for our stay, even to the point of having garden access for my mobility scooter. My wife likes to read Guest book comments so it would have been nice to have one. Otherwise faultless and we would come back to enjoy it again - Cheers Geoff & Sue.

5 minutes walk to the beach. Shops 2 minutes walk. Very comfortable and clean. My only very slight negative ( and it is small) would be I would welcome more cutlery Thank you for a lovely holiday

An excellent property.

Clean, well equipped and comfortable. No negatives. Location superb for walking both the coastal paths and the moors. Excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect maybe just the path on front could do with making one level there's a very small step up I tripped over it so did my grandson and he ended up falling apart from that Everything was perfect.

Great house with all the homely touches making this a great break away by the sea. Great location to explore the coastline of North Yorkshire.
