“Sykes made it really easy to book ...”

Sykes made it really easy to book the accommodation. Communication was clear and timely and not too much.

Sykes made it really easy to book the accommodation. Communication was clear and timely and not too much. The accommodation was really clean and an excellent 'welcome pack' was provided - useful things like tea, coffee, milk, butter and bread, as well as a bottle of wine! it was in a perfect location, close to all amenities and an easy walk to the sea. Situated between Saltburn and Redcar it was an easy walk along the beach to either. A great holiday and I'm sure we'll go back.

Marske-by-the-Sea is a small, bustling coastal village with long, wide, sandy beaches. Originally an old fishing village, today it has a selection of local shops and pubs, which cater for all the family, plus the safe, sandy beaches, sand dunes and fishing boats are an enticing attraction. Places of interest nearby include Captain Cook's birthplace, the mining museum, and the Zetland Lifeboat Museum. Within easy reach of this quaint village is a horse riding centre, the stunning scenery of the North York Moors, through which runs a steam railway line, and the numerous pretty inland villages and fishing villages including Staithes and Runswick Bay.
