"Poor information provided on directions and key collection."
Owners claimed information sent directly by email which did not arrive. Information was not shared with the Sykes App and had to be sorted by Sykes emergency contact. Adding the property was in the grounds of Rushpool Hotel would have identified the entrance from the road. Giving a telephone number on the collection part of Sykes App which is a laundry that closes at 4pm (earliest time of arrival) and has an answer phone. It's no good telling us retrospectively the phone is monitored regularly. We had no idea whether that was the following day or even after the weekend. Full praise for Sykes emergency contact for sorting out the issue very promptly.
Hi thank you for your review and the high percentages you awarded us. The error in communication was made by the company that you booked with back in December by not advising the key collection pre notification procedure- an email was sent to you from our team approx 10 days prior to your arrival - the message from your booking platform would have had the email address to look out for ie odd socks laundry and housekeeping, maybe check your spam bin it often pops in there. Please let us know. Sorry it caused you distress and hope it will not put you off staying with us in the future. Property Owner

"Fabulous place to stay as a base for the area."
Absolutely everything we needed was supplied. The grounds are great for dog walking. Would have liked a direct walk into Saltburn through the woods without having to use the busy narrow road, but not a major issue.
Thank you so much for your kind review we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay . Property Owner

"We loved our stay in cowslip."
We had a fantastic week there. Place is clean tidy and catered for all your needs. The balcony part is great place to sit in morning and of an evening. The grounds the lodge is situated in are great and so is all the wildlife. They are also well kept. So thanks for a lovely week, I am sure we will be back very soon. Regards Dave.
