  • "It was a cozy lodge."

    Sofa was a little low for me and not that comfy. I know it is the responsibility of the exiting occupants to ensure things are clean, BUT, we could not use the toaster as it contained so much debris. Perhaps the cleaners could ensure that things are clean and ready for the incoming occupants, actually clean and not just tidy.

    Thank you for your feedback, it is very very unusual for our cleaners to miss the debris in a toaster if you had contacted us via the helpline number we would have changed the toaster straight away. However we are pleased you enjoyed your week with us . Property Owner

  • "Second visit to the lodges, stayed in Ransom."

    Loved having the balcony this time., much better for our dog too. No windows open when we arrived so floors in living room area were still wet with strong smell of bleach, bottle found under sofa from last guests and cushions on sofa put back incorrectly which let it down. Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom immaculate, Living room looked like my husbands work. We had a fab time tho and this didn’t spoil our stay but you did ask for feedback

  • "We had a lovely stay at Ramson."

    It's great having the front area to sit out and know my dog is safe. The interior was tastefully decorated and has everything you would need. It's our second visit to the lodges, we stayed at Snowdrop many years ago. We love the area, it's so peaceful and we love watching the Peacocks, ducks and squirrels. Would highly recommend to anyone.

  • "W C. in bathroom needed a Grab Rail."

    Useful for elderly or infirm. A legal requirement for duty of care. 4 tea plates instead of the 3 would have been better in the kitchen cupboard. Otherwise excellent accomodation all round.

  • "When we got into the cabin it was very clean then when we went to use the cutlery out of the draw some of the cutlery had dry food still on them and also the plates hadn't been washed apart from that it was a lovely place to stay."

    Oh no we are so so sorry about that , I know that is definitely not the norm for our housekeeping team and will pass your comments onto the owner of the cleaning company as we certainly don’t want a repeat of that error. Hope it didn’t spoil your stay as it is a lovely lodge. Property Owner

  • "A very nice clean and well kitted out lodge in an excellent location and to find a top quality welcome pack on arrival, was a real bonus."

    For anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a picturesque place, with only 11 other lodges and have wild life on your doorstep with peacocks around, this is it. Highly recommended.

  • "Lovely lodge, very clean and comfortable."

    Beautiful setting and quiet when we were there. Wonderful listening to the bird song whilst sat enjoying a cuppa on the veranda. Close to Saltburn-By-The-Sea and easy access to the coast and surrounding countryside.

  • "I had a lovely stay at the Ransom and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the grounds."

    The cottage had everything you need and was clean and comfortable. My little dog thoroughly enjoyed watching the peacocks from the enclosed decking area! The only negative is that the key code that was provided, was incorrect but it got sorted promptly once I contacted Sykes. I am looking to return later this year!

  • "Tunning location and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again."

    Only 2 negatives. The bed is on wheels on laminate flooring and flew across the bedroom the first time I sat on the edge. The TV has a very limited number of channels. No BBC but we were able to sign into our BBC iPlayer and Prime Video accounts. Hopefully the dog barking next door won’t be there next time!
