  • "Lovely property, well equipped and maintained."

  • "Property was great everything you need for your holiday."

Good location for travel into Scarborough and surrounding areas. Just one problem the open fire was not in use. We were not informed of this until we arrived at property. We specifically book properties with fires open or log burners . Has we love to settle down in the evening in front of a fire and read our books with a bottle of wine. So this was disappointing. Otherwise no complaints

  • "Lovely comfortable property."

Well equipped with all that you need. The bed was super comfy after a long day exploring. We had taken our slow cooker but there was one in the property. Close to all areas and a steady walk into town. Would definitely recommend and go back.

  • "We had a really good time at the Firs."

The property is very well located to explore the area, whether by car, walking and by bus. We especially enjoyed the windfall apples in the garden and to have our breakfast out in the terrace - we were very lucky with the weather! The house is in a quiet location so we had a very restful time. Our pet who is very old and sensitive to change settled very well in the house and this was a real bonus. Unfortunately we couldn't get the washing machine to work and the dish washer was out of rinser so couldn't be used. Perhaps the owners could look into this in between customers? We really appreciated the local milk and we went back for more as it was so delicious. We plan to be back as we loved out time at the Firs.

  • "This home is absolutely beautiful."

I have only good things to say about our stay here. The home is warm, comfortable and inviting. The owners left, milk, cake, tea, coffee and biscuits. It was so kind of them to do that. The location is wonderful and so peaceful. The garden is gorgeous and the house is literally minutes from the North Bay of Scarborough, which is stunning. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely return.

It is a very comfortable house with everything you could need for a stay. Everywhere was clean and gave us no concerns whatsoever. The garden was ideal for our dog to wander around, and access rot Scarborough and the general area was very easy. Would stay again if we visit the area

The house is in a great location. Just a steady costal walk to Scarborough sea front, easily managed by my 6yo, and even closer to Scalby village with a lovely village pub and shops.
