"Thank you for a lovely stay at Launchers cottage."

It’s been about 6-7 years since our last stay and it’s still a fabulous place. Comfortable and well presented with adequate facilities. Parking permits available however struggled to park due to a late arrival on our behalf. If I could make a recommendation it would be for a comfortable outside seating.

Thank you so much for your review Dena. So pleased you had a lovely stay and you think Launchers Cottage is still as fabulous as your last stay. It’s great to welcome you back, hope we can welcome you again for your next trip to Scarborough. Appreciate the feedback, thank you. We’ll look at making the outdoor seating more comfortable. Many thanks. Property Owner

"Lovely cottage , very tastefully decorated with all the cleaning supplies , tea towels , and towels provided ."

Coffee and tea supplied although no welcome pack as such which I think is often a nice touch . Well situated for the beach only a few minutes walk, we parked fine outside the cottage but not sure if this would be the same in peak times with a day ticket you have to display in your car that is provided by the owners . 15 minute walk into Scarborough but is quite hilly so not for the immobile . The only negative I would say is the outdoor space . Very useful if you have a dog like I did but not very inviting . The rest of the house is beautiful but the outdoor space lets it down . I didn’t sit out there at all . It could be made to be really nice but just needs a bit of TLC . Overall great stay , lots of places to visit , we went to Whitby and filey but loads more we didn’t get to . Would definitely recommend this cottage . Very comfortable stay . Loved the decor and beds are very comfortable. Highly recommended but would be even better if outdoor space was improved. Don’t let this put you off though .

Thank you so much for your review Amanda. We’re really pleased you liked the cottage and the decor and had a comfortable stay. Thank you for saying you highly recommend it, we really appreciate that. Understand the feedback regarding the outdoor space, Launchers has recently been renovated and the outdoor space is a work in progress with improvements ongoing. We’re looking to have this finished shortly. Hope to welcome you back to Launchers Cottage in the future. Thank you again for your review and feedback. Property Owner
