  • "What an amazing place."

.. On arrival the place was spotless and we all said wow look at this place. It's big and spacious and very very comfortable. The caretaker came up as we arrived to make sure we got in OK and to explain a few things too us. The hot tub was checked by them daily and topped up. It has every thing you need except a washing machine which would be handy on longer stays, however it doesnt state there is one so we were aware that we couldn't do laundry. The decking is big and spacious and the hot tubs out of sight so it's pretty private. There is 2 resident peacocks called Freddie and Eddie who like bread and cheese and they can put on a lovely display if your lucky. There is also a bar onsite only open in the quiet times Fri and sat however in the warmer busier months it's open more. There is also a little snack shack behind the bar near the kids play area serving food and its very reasonable. The lodges are located at the very top quiet corner of the park and really it is soo quiet up there. Its perfectly located for the East coast days out too with scarbrough only 5-10 mins away. You wouldn't know you were so close to the coast as its like being on a woodland retreat. Thanks for an amazing stay and we will be booking again soon.
