    We’ve just returned from a stay at The Barn and can highly recommend it. Perfectly positioned in a quiet, peaceful, rural location and with really quick and easy access to coastal areas such as Bridlington, Filey, Flamborough Head and Scarborough etc. The Barn is superbly equipped with everything we needed during our stay. A lovely detached barn conversion, set on the owner's smallholding, in a peaceful, rural location, near to the pretty village of Burton Fleming.

Beautifully converted with superb attention to detail, this cottage near Filey provides a fabulous base from which to explore the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds and the nearby seaside resorts of Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough.

This cottage near Bridlington has upside down accommodation with an open plan living space on the first floor, to take in the views over open countryside.

There is plenty to do from this Yorkshire cottage, from the walks and cycle trails within the Yorkshire Wolds, to quaint villages and nearby market towns, such as Driffield and Beverley.

Nearby Burton Fleming offers a good local inn, a cafe and farm shop and a butcher, whilst a short drive to Hunmanby brings you to a full range of amenities.

The charming town of Filey, only seven miles away, is well worth visiting, with its long, safe, sandy beaches and two promenades it's a little like stepping back in time here, with its coloured beach huts, donkey rides and candy floss!

Situated close to many attractions, this is a lovely Yorkshire cottage for a well-earned break.

The pretty village of Burton Fleming lies in the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Old cottages cluster around the ancient village green, whilst the Gypsey Race River flows through the village. This small village hosts a local inn, a farm shop and a children's play area. Lovely countryside surrounds the village, with numerous public footpaths and cycle tracks in the area. A seven mile drive brings you to the seaside resorts of Filey and Bridlington, with their long, sandy beaches, colourful promenades and excellent amenities. Burton Fleming provides a good base for exploring this largely undiscovered part of Yorkshire, with the towns of Driffield, Beverley, Scarborough and Whitby close by and an easy drive to the historic City of York.
