  • "Lovely clean, tidy cottage with all the comforts of home & very well equipped."

    The seaside themed decor was great! Nice to have designated parking & the benefit of the courtyard to sit out in. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Hopefully we’ll be making a return visit….before the puffins leave next time!

  • "Very comfortable and well equipped cottage."

    Parking space at the back was very useful. Lots of things to do within walking distance or a short car journey away. Andrea was very helpful and responsive to messages before and during our stay. Would stay here again.

  • "The cottage had everything you would need, it is close to all amenities."

    The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a fabulous surprise. The only problem is the height of some of the stuff was a struggle for me as I am only 4' 11" fortunately have a tall husband. Would have loved to looked through the books, a very good selection. The garden area was quiet and pleasant. Great being able to park close to property and it being private. The score for comfort again comes down to the fact that the sofa isn't designed for someone short. Bed was comfortable, To say the property is on the main road the traffic noise was not a problem.

  • "We absolutely loved this little cottage, so much so, We've already rebooked it for another week this month!"

    The owner had considered everything that a person would require as in a 'home from home' sense, especially for a woman with a long length mirror, illuminating face mirror, tissues, lovely hand cream and shower gels etc. There were plenty of towels including large towels and tea towels. The cottage was so lovely with it's added touches, real cosy and tastefully decorated. I loved the fresh flowers and coloured bottles. Great selection of reading books and games. There were some slight problems with bathroom door and a cupboard door. One hard to shut and one hard to open! I also needed to clean toilet on arrival but honestly, every place has it's quirks, maybe something is missed in cleaning but perfection is unattainable and boring! I love the area, the people, the cottage. I wouldn't stay anywhere else now. Thank you so much for the welcome pack. Just an idea, have you considered leaving a few cafe sized type butter pats. That would be better than real tea maybe because it's not a thing you can take with you when travelling incase it melts...just a suggestion. Again, thank you for providing such a lovely place for people to stay.

The cupboard in the bedroom is locked to keep cleaning materials away from any children staying.   • "In an excellent position and good parking."

    The bath is very high to get into if you are less than 5.4. A mirror above the sink would be good for shaving etc. The bathroom creaks loudly.

  • "Lovely area, brilliant little house well equipped and situated right next to the entrance of Sewerby hall which was well worth a visit."

    Lovely walks into Bridlington and back along the beach or cliff top. We both found the double bed very hard and uncomfortable, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

  • "We loved the cottage, with its pretty little cottage garden."

    So handy for buses, Sewerby Hall and gardens and walks along cliff. Not reliant on the car all the time. Excellent restaurant right opposite, so handy for evening meal after a long day out. Also a pub nearby. Would recommend.

  • "A lovely little cottage and with a few tweaks would be perfect."

    The location is perfect and with private parking and bus stop nearby you couldn’t ask for better. The bathroom certainly needs a grab rail for getting in and out of the bath quite high sides. A shelf above the sink would be helpful as well. The bedroom would benefit from a stool or chair to sit whilst drying your hair and applying your makeup. On the whole would certainly recommend Shell Seekers and the owners were particularly helpful. Plenty of eateries nearby and lovely walks also.
