  • "A wonderful little cottage in a lovely little village."

There were 4 of us plus 2 dogs and we never felt crowded. Everything we could need was supplied, the beds were super comfy and bathroom a delight with a large walk in shower & gorgeous slipper bath. Anne, the owner is the loveliest lady and even gave us some tips on how to find the best & quietest beaches to walk the dogs. The flowers & prosecco were a lovely welcome treat and we will definitely be back Thanks Anne ♥️

Thanks for the lovely feedback and hope to see you again before too long! Property Owner

  • "Had a fabulous 4 night stay."

Loved both the property and the village location. Everything we needed, and more, was in the cottage. Spotlessly clean throughout. The bed in the main bedroom was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom also beautifully kitted out. The patio area at the back is a real suntrap, and nice to sit out in when eating. All in all, we had a lovely, relaxing stay at the cottage and will definitely be returning at some point in the not too distant future.

Thanks so much for kind comments and look forward to seeing you again soon! Property Owner

  • "Fabulous cottage, it was immaculately clean."

Lots of little extras to make it ‘home’. The milk, Prosecco and fresh flowers were most gratefully received, we felt relaxed from the minute we arrived, beds were very comfy, after lots of walking and some fresh sea air, we slept so well. Wish we could have stayed longer, I would recommend to everyone, the only downside was typical British summer weather of gale force winds and rain, but if Ann could have fixed it, I feel certain she would. Thank you again - hope to be back very soon x

Sorry about the weather! I would fix it if I could but we carry on regardless! Thanks for the lovely review and see you soon. Property Owner

The cottage was warm, had excellent wi-fi and every utensil possible within the kitchen. Communication from Ann was excellent in advance of our visit, not only in relation to the property, but also ideas for days out in the local area. Would certainly recommend this extremely clean property to family and friends.

The owner Ann had decorated it so lovey, we also had a lovely breakfast pack left for us in the fridge for our arrival. The cottage was extremely well equipped so I was able to cook a lovely Christmas dinner for us. Everything in the cottage is of a high standard, the soft furnishings, mattress’s, pillows and towels were very high quality which made our stay even more enjoyable. We have stayed in several properties in the past but this one was by far the best, so much so we didn’t want to go home! Our 2 cockers had an amazing time too they loved exploring the lovely beaches in the area. The owner of this property has definitely gone out of their way to make this cottage a beautiful cosy place to stay a real home from home we will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Can't speak highly enough of this cottage, yes it has low ceilings, but we soon got used to that. I would say that the beds are really comfortable and everything about the cottage was as described in the booking information. The owners provided us with a Yorkshire Breakfast, really great and thoughtful. Will be back, the village is quiet but a great place to go site seeing in East Yorkshire. With Hornsea 5 miles away petrol, provisions, shops and beaches were within easy reach. We had a time. Sue & Colin
