  • "It was very good only complaint is the leaking bathroom but they sorted it out the next day but we were already leaving"

  • "Very impressed with the property, decor, cleanliness, equipment and welcome pack."

Comfy armchair and bed (if a bit low for our age group), but I don’t know how to get comfortable on that type of sofa. We had a problem with the shower, it emptied very slowly. We had to turn it off to avoid a flood. It must have been a problem for the previous holiday makers, but maybe they did not report it. These were minor problems, and the owners responded quickly to our texts. We can certainly recommend Rose Cottage.

  • "Lovely, well presented cottage in a lovely village full of friendly residents and doggies."

We all had an enjoyable stay. It was cosy and clean and we appreciated the homely touches (fresh sourdough, bsicuits, jam and milk) alongside the robes and slippers. Comfiest bed i've ever slept on too!

  • "Lovely property, very clean and well presented."

Lovely welcome basket. Owners very nice and helpful. Nice village. On street parking busy at times, but quiet overnight.

  • "Lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay."

The welcome basket, dressing gowns and slippers were a lovely touch, thank you. The only thing that we weren’t aware of from the listing is that the private courtyard garden is actually an access to the other cottages which resulted in neighbours using it a few times during our stay. Not a problem if you don’t have any intentions to use the courtyard for chilling or for a dog. Highly recommend a stay.
