  • "Lovely clean, tidy home."

Fabulous for our extended family stay. Well equipt, great location and super comfy.

  • "Great location, could benefit from new kitchen/utility area, very tired, smelt damp & needs a deep clean generally."

Garden also in need of tidy up & clean. Needs a good light on top floor very poor. A lot of chipped paint but I suppose nearing end of season. Some mats are pure tripping hazards & unnecessary. We really enjoyed our stay despite these things & would consider returning due to location & spacious property but would love to see some maintenance work & removal of rusty fridge etc in utility. Lounges are great especially for little ones! Our party ranged from 3 years to 99 years, a bit of a struggle with wheelchair but we managed it! Drive only realistically fits 1 car but there is room outside if available.

  • "We had a really lovely stay, the house was perfect for our huge family group, so much space, and really lovely decor, we especially loved the 2 living rooms so the kids could have a room to themselves for all their stuff."

Perfect location too, 5 mins from a lovely beach, 10 mins to the centre of Brid, we didn't need to take cars out at all, except for shopping. Theres a big Lidl half a mile away plus a big Tesco. The showers were temperamental and we couldn't find a dustpan and brush but that's really the only criticism. 10 out of 10 would recommend, we're planning on coming back next year.

  • "Spacious period property in a fabulous location."

Plenty of room for our group of eleven. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Although the bedding, bathrooms and the kitchen seemed clean it really would benefit from a deep clean and some minor maintenance work, it is a little tired. On arrival there was a mild smell of damp, it didn't smell clean & fresh. Small things that let it down, for example paint peeling off the wall around the kitchen sink, utility needs freshening up, chipped paint on walls. The odd light bulb out. Garden needs a little attention too.

We had a family gathering. Plenty of room and safe outside area for the children and dog. Lovely clean and tasteful decor throughout. We had to contact the owner to rectify a problem which was sorted immediately efficiently and in a courteous manner. It’s a great place to stay if you have a big family group near to the beach and all amenities .

The only issue was the poor hot water pressure through all the taps. The plumber came but could not fix before we left. Showers were fine but washing up for 13 was a challenge with next to no hot water. The kettle took a pounding. Location was excellent being so near to the beach. Despite water pressure which has now been sorted we would stop here again.

The property is spacious and has all the requirements to cater for days in if the weather is poorly, however we were blessed with good weather and even took advantage of the large BBQ located in the garden shed. My mum who is 75 and shakey on her feet was very much comfortable in the ground floor bedroom which was perfect as she would not have got up stairs. Hallway is large enough to house a wheelchair and 3 buggies we had for the young kids / baby. All in all would thoughroughly recomend and would love to return. The only negative if I was nick picking and I did read on a previous post was the very small TV in the living room, could be much bigger as elderly with failing eyesight and not to mention people are used to a big TV nowadays.

  • "The only reason there is a loss of points for listing is the parking."

For a very large, very comfortable house which is well equipped for all ages, the parking only allows for one car on the premises and one across the drive. If there are more than 2 cars it is pot luck if there is a space on the road. Not such a problem at the time we stayed but I imagine the summer months could be difficult. However we had a very good holiday as the situation of the house with the beach at the end of the road was fantastic for younger children and adults alike.

They even put 2 Christmas trees up to make it more festive that was a lovely touch, we all really loved the property, the only thing negative would be the tiny tiny telly in one of the living rooms ( there is two) and none in the other, and because it's winter, cold and raining we wanted to watch Christmas movies etc. So we had to take ours with us which wasn't great, as we read the reviews so thought we would we take ours which was a good idea, But honestly the house was great, so many bedrooms to pick from! The best showers are on the top floor.

Outside - Parking for two cars is a bit of a white lie - and the green bin had no lid and one of the blue bins the lid was broken (it doesn't take much to have them replaced by the local authority).
