  • "Really enjoyed our stay at the Owls Nest."

Both hosts were so welcoming and helpful with everything. The cottage itself has everything you need, very clean and has clearly been built well. The attention to detail with information on local walks or driving routes were really useful and appreciated. We would fully recommend this property to friends and family and already working out when I can go back and stay again! Thank you very much! We simply loved it.

It was warm and cosy without needing to light the wood-burner. This was the first time we'd stayed in a cottage that was not in walking distance of a pub/restaurant, and that did make a difference to the pattern of our days. Less local walking, more going out by car to local highlights. Which are many and varied..In two weeks we never ran short of things to do each day.
