There are local walks heading out from the cottage, also It was just a short ride to several local pubs which served great food and there are some great visitor attractions within a 30 minute drive. If you like quiet secluded countryside cottages then this is a must.

Fridge & microwave need updating. Possibly more mention of narrow & slightly steep stairs, which we managed ok but others with less mobility might struggle with.

Thank you for your positive comments about the cottage and the revue in our visitors guest book - particularly that you would recommend. We have taken on board your additional comments - although fully functioning we have replaced the microwave. We feel the fridge is in very good order - clean and efficient. It would be a shame to dispose of it at this time so that is something for the future if and when necessary. We have noted the comments regarding the staircase - we would agree it is not suitable for any one with mobility issues and will update the web site . The images currently on the web site should allow future guests to assess whether Owl’s Nest is suitable for them . Thank you again for taking the time to make your comments Best regards Lindsay and Marcus Property Owner
