  • "Would not let a dog stay in here"

    We are sorry that this guest did not enjoy their stay. This booking was made for Christmas and the guest asked if the caravan would be decorated. As we had never rented over Christmas before, I explained it would not normally be decorated, but I made additional efforts to create a festive feel by purchasing a mini tree, lights, candles and decorations specifically for their stay, and even arranged further items when they requested more. The guest checked the caravan before the scheduled cleaning had taken place and raised concerns about cleanliness and the decorations at that time. When the additional Christmas tree we arranged was delivered, it was declined. During the booking the guest repeatedly requested a £200 refund, which we did not feel was justified. However, we did offer to waive the cancellation fee so they could cancel the booking if they were unhappy, but they chose to continue with the stay. Our caravan is a 2022 model, deep-cleaned in October and very lightly used since. We always welcome constructive feedback and do our best to help guests have an enjoyable stay, but we feel this review does not reflect the efforts made to accommodate their frequent requests and demands during the Christmas period.   • "Lovely caravan excellent location, could do with the carpet cleaning as a few ..."

    Lovely caravan excellent location, could do with the carpet cleaning as a few big stains on it , it also needs a hover in the caravan as with having dogs it needs hoovering daily if not every other day But other than that had a wonderful stay lovely walk to cayton bay beach

Since this review, the caravan has had a deep clean following a busy summer season. We have also purchased a vacuum cleaner which will now be stored in the caravan for guests to use during their stay if needed.   • "Location was good afraid it stops there."

    We found property not up to Sykes standards.Needs a really good deep clean Gate broken into decking .Lounge carpet badly stained.Perhaps covers for outside furniture as there is no storage to keep them in so we’re wet when we arrived

    Thanks for the feedback. The caravan had high use in summer and sadly a couple of things has been damaged and carpet stained. The caravan has since had deep clean and we are continuing working on any breakages as close to when they happen. We have also purchased a new furniture cover. Unfortunately guests do not always cover the furniture and can be already wet before next guests but we do continually try to stay on top of this now.   • "Modern caravan in an excellent location on the park."

    The outside seating area catches the sun most of the day. Two bedrooms have TVs and the living room has a large TV. Main bedroom has an en suite too which was great. Trudi the owner was approachable and helpful. Bedding could be improved, better quality duvet and covers. I would suggest 100% cotton with a decent thread count. Missing some touches - dishwasher tablets, bedside lamps in the twin rooms, more coat hangers in wardrobes, fan etc. Oven glove has a hole in. Overall, a lovely stay.

  • "Lovely property, only two towels provided for four people ,lights in the main ..."

    Lovely property, only two towels provided for four people ,lights in the main bedroom flickering and not working, it’s a high end price for the type of property and would it have been reasonable we would have booked for new year and next Easter, however the price for these dates have increased to a ridiculous amount unfortunately, but if it was in line with other properties we would 100% return as the position is good and beds are comfy

We had previously removed towels from our listing due to the frequency they needed replacing, however for the coming season we will be providing new sets of towels for guests.
