    A lovely comfortable and well equiped cottage on a working farm situated perfectly between a number of interesting places to visit. The owner went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Very dog friendly. We will definately be visiting again.

There is a local village inn serving food, very welcome after a day’s walking on the numerous public footpaths and bridleways in the area. The seaside villages of Sandsend and Runswick Bay are close by and both provide lovely, sandy beaches, fossil hunting and beachcombing.
