Roseberry

been staying here for a week each year, for quite a few years now.

its our home from home in Whitby. if you want a quite area of Whitby without the crowds and a few minutes bus drive into the centre or a 30 minutes stroll into the town it's ideal. Bus stops are just a few minutes walk from Roseberry going North and South along this beautiful coast line. the accommodation as everything you need for the home from home experience. hopefully will be booking a 2027 stay

This accommodation is fabulously situated for wonderful cliff walks into Whitby town.

It is spacious and comfortable, but very dated. It would benefit from updating, redecorating, and a thorough deep clean. The beds are comfortable. Chipped crockery was provided, along with only two small towels and part of a toilet roll. There is plenty of hot water; however, if hot water is used in the kitchen while someone is showering, the shower can become extremely hot, which may be a concern for children and elderly guests. This review may sound as though we had a bad time, but we didn't. The property's location more than made up for its shortcomings, and despite our criticisms, we would consider returning in the future.

Roseberry is lovely.

We stayed for 5 nights and from the moment we arrived we all felt comfortable and at home. It was clean and tidy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We stayed with 2 teens and the location was excellent as they could have some freedom walking into Whitby and the arcades. If we holiday in Whitby again it would top pick for us to rebook. Thanks

We (3 adults) loved our stay at Roseberry.

The bungalow was very comfortable, light & spacious with plenty of empty cupboards especially in the kitchen for our supplies. The bungalow was well equipped. Excellent information folder with suggested days out. Good welcome goodies, thank you. Easy car parking in the drive for 2 cars. Nice front garden (concrete yard at the back). The interior of the bungalow & furnishings are dated but that didn't spoil our visit. Comfortable beds. The washing machine/drying room was useful. We stayed during a cold week in June so needed the central heating on most mornings. The location of the bungalow is perfect within a 2 minute walk for a sea view & a nice bench to watch the sun set. The bus stop into town is less that 5 minutes walk away. Although we walked most days. The Whitby area is a great place to explore with an impressive sandy beach, the Abbey, the North York Moors, Steam trains, Whitby scampi, boat rides excellent cake shops & so much more, we loved our week (except for the chilly wind). I would stay again at Roseberry & recommend this accommodation.

Roseberry is a lovely, comfortable bungalow, very homely.

It is in a perfect position’ near enough to walk into the centre but far enough away to be quiet. There is also parking for two cars. The shops and bus are just round the corner. We have been many times before and had another lovely week.

A good location with easy walks into Whitby and along the coast path.

Comfortable and clean bed. Heating was set very low but we soon worked it out with the thermostat. Some spectacular cobwebs around the light in the lounge. Some larger towels would have been nice.
