  • “My husband and I had a lovely week in 'Church View'.”

We felt very comfortable and at home in the property. It was obvious from the way everything was set up that the owners cared that their guests would have a lovely time when visiting. We found the whole flat extremely well-equipped. We felt very comfortable and at home in the property. It was obvious from the way everything was set up that the owners cared that their guests would have a lovely time when visiting. We found the whole flat extremely well-equipped. It was little things that we noticed that realyl made a big difference - like having enough loo roll to last a week, or having some spray cleaner under the sink (so that we could wipe up the inevitable mishaps). It was a pleasure to meet Pip, the housekeeper, just as we were leaving and she was very warm and friendly and pleased to be told about some blinds that weren't working. Two points of constructive criticism... The duvet on the bed was 13.5 tog and very hot(!!) I had quite poor sleep as a result and to have an optional alternative to such an extremely thick duvet would have been very welcome. (There is plenty of available storage in the Ottoman bed for such a thing.) Additionally, the windows were very dirty on the outside, which was a bit of a shame, considering how clean everything else was!
