The property

Tucked away in a quiet street close to Whitby's bustling town centre, is Moor Croft cottage, an attractive property built of stone and brick.

With exposed beams and traditional furnishings, it offers a homely and character feel throughout, ideal for that family getaway or a break with friends.

The kitchen is well-appointed for all your culinary needs, so you can rustle up a storm for the whole family and get together around the dining table to discuss your plans for your trip.

Head through to the sitting room to unwind after exploring all the delights Whitby has to offer, tune into the TV and get cosy in front of the electric fire.

Stairs lead from the living room up to a choice of two bedrooms, each well-furnished with bedside tables and ample storage units; a double and a twin, followed by the family bathroom.

You can indulge with a warm soak in the bath tub after a hike on the moors or along the Heritage Coast, relieving your muscles of any aches or pains before getting ready for an evening out.

Find an assortment of pubs and eateries in the town mere paces away, as well as many shops and its iconic steam North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

With its Blue Flag beaches, fishing opportunities, literary connections to Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and a long history around Captain Cook and his famous ship Endeavour, you won't be short of things to see and do.

Climb the iconic 199 steps to Whitby Abbey and visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum or enjoy a lovely stroll out to West Pier to see the beaming lighthouse and striking sea views.
