Venture up the stairs to be greeted by the open-plan living space, the Velux windows throughout creating a bright and airy aspect for your stay.
Find a kitchen hosting all the essentials for a self-catered stay, accompanied by a lovely dining area where you can relish quality time with your loved one over a homemade meal.
End your day relaxing on the plush sofa in front of the television, or head outside to soak in your beautiful surroundings from your very own private hot tub and a sauna for the perfect end to a romantic day.

A lovely place to stay.
Beautiful, clean and tidy with lots of thoughtful little touches (e.g. water, Prosecco, chocolates etc). Lovely ones who are knowledgeable and helpful. Would stay again.
Location was perfect for trips all over Yorkshire and for a wedding at the Yorkshire Wedding Barn.
Accomodation was just as good for a couple with the facilities (sauna/hot tub) well maintained. Definitely on i would go back too. Top tip - if you need taxis rely on local companies at Richmond or Catterick. Was impossible to use Uber in the area.

Always immaculately presented & a beautiful setting to spend time in. We love to relax in the covered hot tub & sauna after a day of walking or exploring the local historical areas. Easy access into the Yorkshire Dales or across to the North Yorks moors & coast. Several Nature reserves & bird watching sites also close by. Richmond is a 20-30 minute walk away with very good local restaurants & takeaways of varying types plus independent shops & locally made produce & gifts. Several supermarkets around Catterick Garrison area & Catterick racecourse also close by.

Absolutely brilliant stay.
Angie and Alan very friendly and made us so welcome. The accommodation was perfect, clean, bright and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hot tub, sauna and gardens were fab! Will definitely be booking again. Only drawback was that Alan is a Newcastle fan!

We had the most fantastic holiday away at Woodland View.
On arrival Angie and Alan had left a beautiful vase of fresh flowers, bottle of fizz and some chocolates. Thank you so much for the kind gesture. Spotlessly clean, plenty of towels and bath robes. Well equipped kitchen had everything you needed. The outdoor area was amazing Hot tub, Sauna and very comfortable chairs to relax in after coming back from our days out walking. Only been back home for a few days and already booked for next year. Woodland view is a perfect get away. Thanks to Angie and Alan. See you next year Heather and Andrew

We stayed for a couple of nights this weekend as a mini-moon after getting married - we wanted somewhere to chill out, soak in the newlywed feeling and recharge our batteries.
And Woodland View was the perfect spot! Properly peaceful, had everything we needed, immaculate condition and not cramped - we spent a lot of time enjoying the hot tub / sauna and Richmond wasn’t far to go at all to grab some food. A beautiful little spot and exactly what we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Woodland View.
This was a perfect location from which to explore North Yorkshire. The hot tub and sauna were very useful to ease the aches in our legs after long days of hiking in the Dales. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to this area. A tiny word of warning for future guests … the bathroom does not have a shaver socket. Just something to be aware of when packing!

A lovely spotlessly clean apartment.
The hot tub and sauna facilities are excellent. Lots of clean towels provided and soft fluffy dressing gowns.The apartment, hot tub and sauna are very private and parking is just outside the gate in the drive. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Second time staying at Woodland View, lovely well maintained accommodation which is of a very high standard, in a great location.
Plenty of walks, with the Station so near great for the cinema and cafe. Loved the hot tub great for relaxing later in the day. It will not be our last visit.

This was an excellent break in an outstanding cottage.
The weather was lovely too. Cottage was comfortable with excellent amenities. The only downside was that one of the relaxer chairs didn't work. That said we would definitely come to stay again.

This was our second stay at Woodland View and it won’t be our last.
There really is nothing not to like, beautiful location, extremely well appointed and comfortable accommodation. The owners are really lovely people who make sure everything is as it should be but leave you to get on with your holiday too. Particularly love having the hot tub and sauna which is totally private and all under a glass conservatory with a heater, makes it possible to enjoy even in the winter months after a day out walking. We will be back next year for sure. Thanks Angie and Alan

Peaceful, relaxing surroundings, wonderful accommodation with everything you need. To relax in the hot tub/sauna after a busy day was just what was needed. To have it enclosed for winter use was a bonus, but could still have the glass doors open to the garden. Would definitely book to stay again if ever in that part of the country. Andy & Sally Watson

Woodland View so lovely and so private.
Appreciated plentiful towels for showering given the sauna, hot tub etc. Alan provided advice on a lovely walk into Richmond, hardly used the car. Old Station worth a visit (and try No 29 Tapas Bar in Richmond). Property provided everything we needed for a brilliant get away.

Woodland view is a lovely comfortable modern apartment.
Angie and Alan were brilliant hosts welcoming and friendly. They even offered us a lift into Richmond town centre if we needed it. We had pleasant walks into the town roughly 25 mins. We especially enjoyed the garden and hot tub beautifully maintained as was the property. The prosecco chocolates and flowers also a nice touch . We had a lovely week so Thank you and would love to return one day.

Woodland view is a beautiful place it had everything we needed the property was very clean and we were provided with plenty of towels along with dressing gowns and slippers soaps toilet rolls and shower products tea coffee & sugar even our own parking space which was on the property where we were staying we arrived to a lovely welcoming surprise of flowers prosecco and chocolates.
Angie & Alan have thought of everything to make woodland view a lovely place to relax the hot tub was great they also have a sauna and we loved the glass covered garden room and furniture & being able to look out on to the amazing wood and surrounding area along with the sheep & lambs in the field. The garden was private and we sat out on the bench watching the sky at night changing colour as the sun was going down we have made some wonderful memories at woodland view Angie & Alan have been very kind thank you both so much for making our holiday memorable we have had the best time love to you both Sue & Dave.XX

What a wonderful holiday.
The property was lovely and the location suited us perfectly. Plenty of walks directly from the property and easy access to Richmond and beyond. Hosts had created ideal hot tub area to relax and enjoy whatever the weather. We will return asap and would highly recommend

Excellent high standard accommodation, very clean and comfortable.
Prosecco, chocolates and a vase of fresh roses on arrival a nice touch. The sauna and hot tub were brilliant, very private with the added luxury of robes, towels and slippers provided. Angie and Alan were very friendly offering tips on places to visit. The Station a 20 minute walk away with cafe bar, sweet shop, bakery and cinema was a nice place to frequent. Eager to return.

It had everything we needed and we particularly liked hopping between the sauna and hot tub. Richmond was nice and near and the circular walk to Easby Abbey was a highlight!

A beautiful apartment inside and out . Fresh flowers and prosecco from the owners on arrival was a lovely touch . They even offered to take us into town if we needed a lift in the evening . The hot tub was a godsend after a day out walking .

The cottage is so luxurious and secluded. The hot tub is a perfect addition with robes and slippers provided. We enjoyed many long walks in the Dales and on the coast to coast pathway. The roast dinner at the The Townhall was lovely as recommended by the owners. Thank you once again.

The Woodland View was modern, clean and tranquil.
The garden was quiet and well maintained. Its not far from Richmond market square with lots of places to eat and a number of craft shops. We had a great holiday.

Absolutely stunning property and surroundings, two minutes from Richmond town centre, but still in a countryside setting.
The hot tub is set in a glass canopy with sliding doors which weren’t on the pictures. This makes it cosy even on a cloudy day. The hosts were very friendly but left you to relax in your own space. The accommodation is above a large garage so is not above another dwelling which was nice. All in all a hidden gem which we hope to return to at some point.

I loved our stay at the Woodland view.
So much so we are going back in a couple of weeks. We walked into the beautiful cottage to some beautiful roses, which were a lovely touch. Everywhere was spotlessly clean & beautiful done. The hot tub area was amazing. I could have stayed in there all night. The Sunrise was out of this world just sitting in our own little garden area with a cup of coffee. I would 100% recommend Woodland View to all my family & friends.

This place is just fantastic the attention to detail, the home comforts made our stay wonderful It's so quiet and calming and the use of a sauna and hot tub were the icing on the cake for us.

Was recommended to book by my mum and stepdad, who surprised us when they said there is also a sauna which was a lovely bonus. Very clean and comfortable which made for a wonderful stay. The owner was so helpful and on hand if we needed anything, they provided a handy guide on the Richmond area and best walks in the area as well. Amazing, would always book again!!

Amazing place!
We’ve just stayed in Woodland View for 4 nights and loved it! The owners have paid attention to detail which makes it a fabulous little place to stay. It has everything you need plus the hot tub and sauna (which looks like a mini spa!). Prosecco on arrival, plenty of towels, robes, flip flops, comfy bed and well equipped kitchen.

Woodland View is a little gem of a holiday cottage.
The accommodation is perfect, equipt with everything you could possibly need, beautifully decorated and a really comfy bed. The hot tub and sauna are the icing on the cake, located in a lovely private spot at the side where you can have a soak and chill at the end of the day. We had a lovely relaxing week and have already booked to return next year!

What an amazing place!
Perfect location, and top class accommodation. We booked Woodland View for our first ever get away at Christmas and everything was just perfect. The place was tastefully decorated with festive bits for us and lovely little extras. We loved the hot tub and sauna and we were in a perfect spot for walks. Can recommend a visit to The Station.

Angie was welcoming when we arrived and sorted a slight issue we had (only mentioned due to the level of service provided). The hot tub and sauna were fantastic to come back to after days out. If visiting this area again would definitely look to book again.

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at Woodland View.
The accommodation is fantastic. It is clean and cosy and had all of the amenities needed for a short stay. The hot tub area and sauna is a great extra. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the added touch of prosecco and chocolates was very much appreciated. I would 100% recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay again.

Fabulous accommodation, the owner has thought of everything you would need for a relaxing cosy break in the countryside, including private gardens to enjoy the better weather, the sauna & hot tub are a fantastic tonic after a game of golf or a country walk .
I would not hesitate to highly recommend Woodland View for a perfect break in North Yorkshire.

We loved every minute of our stay. The owners were brilliant, gave us lots of recommendations on where to go if we wanted to have a walk around the area & was not disappointed when we did! Loved the hot tub. Great and easy walk in to Richmond, which is a lovely town. The Castle, Easby Abbey and Green Howard's museum well worth a visit. Lots of nice places to eat as well.

19 to 26 April 2024 We enjoyed a perfect week's holiday at Woodland View.
Immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated and furnished. Loved the hot tub and lounging chairs in the sheltered/heated area. Location is a great hub for discovering the area and Richmond itself has all the historical interests and walks you could want. Wonderful place for a couple to stay. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Thank you Angie also for the bottle of welcome bubbles. Would highly recommend Woodland View to anyone.

Enhanced by more cover for the side of the hot tub area make it less exposed to the elements. Lovely flowers & fizz welcoming out arrival. Great location for short walk into Richmond & great walks scenery of North Yorkshire & the Dales easily accessible. Thank you to Alan and Angie who really do commit to ensuring that guests staying at their apartment have the best possible experience. Out and about, Georgian Theatre Royal tour is definitely worth a visit, fascinating. Restaurants/pubs worth a look...Rustique, The Heifer at Scorton and The Station is fab for breakfast, art and much more besides! We love this place, we'll likely be back!

The photos don’t do this place justice. We were made to feel so welcome. Hot tub was great, sauna was beautiful. All in closed. Couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. Had a fantastic stay at Woodland View for our wedding anniversary.
The appartment was superb and we appreciated the wine and chocolates. It was clean and well thought out, the weather was really poor so we couldn't go out on walks as we imagined but it was just lovely to stay in nice and cosy and because the hot tub and sauna were under cover we used those lots. We met Angie briefly and she was lovely and was on hand should we have any problems. All in all we thoughrouly enjoyed our stay. We had some nice meals out both at The Station down the road and also in Richmond.

After the previous holiday earlier this year I decided to take an autumn break at the same property Once again the owner was very welcoming and friendly and the holiday was just perfect in every aspect It was amazing to see the owners plan to collect all the fallen leaves being achieved on a lovely dry day.

We had a lovely couple days at woodland view.
The apartment was excellently furnished. Warm and cosy. Amazing hot tub and sauna. We loved the little touch of a bottle of Prosecco and Ferraro Roche on arrival. Their little information folder was full of great little things from instructions to local walks to restaurants and helpful parking info and a disc to park in Richmond. Perfectly located just outside Richmond. It was perfect little get away for us and loved every minute of our stay.

Woodland View was attractive, warm, comfortable and welcoming, with a great private hot tub, sauna and garden. The owners were friendly and helpful. Its location was perfect for walking and visiting the many attractions. The only negative, that could not be helped, was that we were conscious of road noise.
We had a great time at Woodland View, a lovely property with great facilities.
The owners were great and we were made to feel right at home. It was just what we needed and a very beautiful place. We hope to come back again one day

The cottage is immaculate, the hot tub and sauna are such a bonus- particularly with the glass walls overlooking the countryside. We could not find a fault with this accommodation, cleanliness, facilities and the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced.
The hot tub and sauna were great and a lovely way to wind down after a walk in the surrounding countryside. Angies welcome was lovely and the Prosecco and chocolates were much appreciated as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there. It’s conveniently positioned and is only a 30 minute stroll into Richmond. Overall one of the best short breaks we’ve had.

We spent a lovely relaxing week at Woodland View.
The accommodation had all the amenities that we required and was to a high standard.The property is perfectly situated to explore Richmond.There are lots of nice places to eat in Richmond and the castle is worth a visit. Hopefully we will be back at some point, and a thanks to the owners who were very welcoming and helpful.

Very peaceful and private, while accessible on foot to Richmond and several lovely local walks. Additional touches were greatly appreciated such as robes and towels for use in the enclosed hot tub and sauna area as well as slippers for use indoors. Property and local information readily at hand as well as the exceptional hosts. Would definitely recommend and look forward to revisit.

Came back for our second wedding anniversary after originally coming for our mini honeymoon 2 years ago.
Absolutely love this place and didn't want to leave. So peaceful but so much to do at the same time If you want to. We did miss waking up to the sound of our cats but the sheep definitely fill in for your pets, loved it. The place is so clean and cosy with everything you could need and they went the extra mile to make it special for our anniversary. The outside area was even better than the last time we came which we didn't think was possible as you are now closed in with glass doors which make it even more perfect on a not so sunny day. Will definitely be coming back next year for our 3rd anniversary! Would highly recommend to anyone.

We wanted a very relaxing stay in a comfortable quiet retreat away from it all.
That is exactly what we got and lots more! Very modern, very clean, comfortable and well kept in and outside. Garden lovingly well kept and the hot tub area well thought out. Lovely location and made such a difference to our short break. So many cottage stays are a disappointment but not Woodland View. The owners should be very proud to offer such a high standard of holiday accommodation. We absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. Will be definitely be coming back.

We have stayed in some wonderful cottages but i think this one ranks very high, We were spoilt.
The cottage is very well equipped, a very comfy nights sleep every night wonderful walks into Richmond, Catterick and especially Easby and the ruined abbey. The walk along the disused railway track into Richmond is great. It was my wives birthday and the owner ( who are on hand but not intrusive ) They recommended a French restaurant RUSTIQUE it was fantastic the owner even took us there Thank you. The hot tub and sauna were to die for and so private. Overall a fantastic cottage which we will return to another day.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay.
Immaculately clean and so well looked after, we couldn’t fault it. Plenty of towels provided and lovely dressing gowns and slippers were an added bonus. We loved everything about the place and didn’t want to leave. The owners have thought of everything and you can tell how well looked after the place is as soon as you pull into the gate. Beautiful surroundings - we only live half an hour away but felt like we were a million miles away from home. Thank you for letting us stay, we hope to come back one day.

Directions to find it were perfect. Loved the suggested walk outs from the property. The owners were in touch with us, but non-intrusive, appeared to be lovely and helpful. This was a great couple's property with an excellent hot tub and sauna attached. There is nothing to complain about, and a lot to be pleased with. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a lovely, relaxed stay at Woodland View, Alan and Angie have clearly put a great deal of effort and thought in to its design.
The decor is modern and fresh, immaculately clean and well resourced. The mini 'spa' area is genius! We had less than perfect weather but the glass enclosure around the hot tub and sauna meant that we were cosy and calm looking out at the rain!! Richmond is a lovely town. Don't forget your parking disc! The pie shop is amazing (dangerously so) also gelato tutti...the canoli, OMG!! Lots of nice shops and cafés. Market book stall is very good too. Recommend The Heifer at Scorton, the food was incredible and lovely people. The Station is very good for breakfast too. We would definitely return for another stay. One of the best, thank you.

This was our third visit.
We love the location, its quiet but only a half hour walk to Richmond or Catterick garrison town. The property has a huge comfy bed plus everything you'll need for your stay and the hot tub is the icing on the cake.

Perfectly located just a short walk/taxi ride from Richmond which has lots of cosy pubs and nice restaurants. The owners were very friendly but not imposing. The accommodation was well thought out and perfectly clean. The hot tub was the highlight and made even better by the glass enclosure which meant the weather wasn’t an issue.

The property is very easy to find, and also well situated.
The property is between Catterick and Richmond, which are both walking distance from Woodland View. The property itself is perfect - well maintained, clean, lovely decor and has everything you need for a relaxing break away. The hot tub and sauna are also within your 'own' private space, and are not over looked in anyway. I would recommend Woodland View 100%. This is the second time I have visited and I will definitely be booking to go again.

Comfortable lounge with Smart TV, well equipped Kitchen, large bedroom with very comfortable king size bed. The new covering to the hot tub area making it totally weather proof allows you to enjoy the hot tub and sauna whatever the weather and was a wonderful addition to this already immaculate property. We will be back!!

...a pleasant 15-20 mins walk into town. Facilities are all great providing excellent living accommodation with a comfy bed and relaxing lounge, hot tub and sauna are a great feature too. Excellent cottage in a lovely location.
Well equipped. Hot tub was a great way to relax and can be used all year round as owners have added glass doors to make it an excellent out door room. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning again.

We had such a lovely time using the hot tub. The effort put into giving us directions for a local walk and a stunning drive was very much appreciated. The owner was so lovely, she came and introduced herself and always said hi but also wasn't overbearing, she was always there if we needed anything though. The area itself is wonderful with so many enjoyable places to explore! Would absolutely rebook to stay again and have also recommended the apartment to friends and family. What an utterly stunning property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, warm and all facilities were brilliant. The hot tub was checked and treated everyday and we were left to enjoy our privacy throughout our time there. Lovely touches including access to walks, parking disc, dressing gowns and bottle of bubbles/chocolates on arrival. Secluded and beautiful surroundings. Had a drive to Whitby for the day which was around 62 miles away and because we were so close, seemed a shame not to. There were indoor stairs, just like stairs in your house, all rooms were clean, walk in shower and plenty of towels for both hot tub and shower facilities. Private parking on the driveway and the house, drive and surrounding gardens are stunning and well cared for. Thank you so much for our stay, we would definitely return !!

We loved it! The accommodation is well maintained, well thought out and excellently furnished throughout. It’s also located in a lovely area, where each day we could chose which direction to head out walking- either heading out across the local fields or an easy stroll into Richmond. Our evenings were spent enjoying either the hot tub or the sauna and relaxing ready for the next days adventure. Would definitely recommend Woodland View for a excellent holiday!

Secluded hot tub. Fairly easy walk into Richmond, bearing in mind that Richmond is quite hilly, some roads quite steep. Would thoroughly recommend this property, looking to return at some point.

Welcoming hosts with extra special touches provided on arrival. Facilities great for a relaxing stay & plenty of options for more active lifestyles with local walks from the property. Richmond offers a wealth of pubs, restaurants, cafés, shops as well as historical attractions & can be accessed by walking or taxi for less than £5.00. A great position for accessing the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorks Moors & beyond. Will definitely return.

They were helpful and friendly. The property was modern and clean. We had a great week at the Woodland View. Richmond was only a half hour walk away along the cycle path. There was a variety of shops, the castle and the water fall. There was a wide selection of eateries in the town center.
Woodlands View is the ideal cottage for guests who want to visit the Yorkshire Dales area.
It is located just outside Richmond which is a lovely olde world town on the edge of Swaledale. Alan & Angie have provided an ideal retreat within 5 minutes drive from the heart of Richmond. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped and comfortable with the bonus of a Hot Tub and Sauna in a well designed area which is undercover but not enclosed. There is an ample private garden for guests which has wonderful views over the local fields and woodland. All the equipment provided by the owner is top quality. I am unable to fault any aspect of this cottage and am planning to return again in the near future.

Very cosy and very comfortable cottage. All modern commodities provided. Good wifi. Sauna and jacuzzi are nice extra's, didn't use sauna ourselves. Owners are very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. When the temperature went up, sunbeds were provided. That was a lovely gesture. Information about Richmond and surrounding area is provided, such as walks and pubs. Richmond is a 20 minute walk. We had a lovely dinner at The Coachhouse at Middleton, 15 minuten drive.

It was lovely to sit out of an evening in the covered area which had the hot tub , and a sauna and lovely seating area . The location was perfect for exploring the dales. The cottage was immaculate with everything we needed . Angie and Alan were lovely , very friendly and welcoming . Would love to visit again sometime and would definitely recommend woodland view.

We felt so relaxed and really appreciated all the extras that they provided. The apartment is superb… extremely comfortable and ofcourse we loved the outside area. The apartment is v peaceful even though there is a road nearby.. this did not disturb us at all. Plenty to do in the area.. Swaledale is fabulous for walks, and some great restaurants in Richmond. Very very highly recommended-I’m sure we will return!

Absolutely top notch in a beautiful setting. Hosts were fantastic, always eager to help. Location ideal for trips to the Swaledale valley. A short but hilly walk into Richmond, however Alan and Angie happy to offer lifts. Overall a great holiday.

The property is excellent down to the finest detail.
Externally the covered patio area containing the hot tub, sauna, outdoor heater and seating is the perfect setting to relax and unwind in complete privacy. The glass canopy allowing you to gaze into the night sky regardless of the weather is one of the many examples of Alan and Angie's attention to detail. This attention to detail carries on through out the apartment which is finished to an extremely high standard. We had a fabulous and relaxing break and would definitely recommend this property (as we already have to several friends) and can't wait for our return visit later in the year. A massive thank you again to Alan and Angie the perfect hosts.
This is a lovely high end holiday let for two people.
The hosts are charming and helpful. Very close to Richmond and the many eateries and facilities. Lovely walks in the area and from the door should you wish.
Absolutely loved Woodland View, lovely rural setting, extremely comfortable and well equipped.
Having its own hot tub and sauna under a glass roof was the perfect end to some longer walks up to see the ‘erratics’ in Clapham near Wensleydale, Willances Leap from the cottage. An easy walk via a cycle path near to the cottage in to the historic town centre of Richmond where there are a good choice of pubs and restaurants (Thai, French and Italian were all excellent). A good location to go for a day trip west to Saltburn and Staithes too. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Woodland Viiew.

The apartment was gorgeous and the hot tub and sauna were to die for. The place was immaculate and clean. During our time there the owners were so thoughtful, and couldn’t do enough to help us during our stay. The place is really close to Richmond a wonderful little market town. We couldn’t believe how much there was to do in the area. We didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted,and will definitely be going back, it was a wonderful place. 10 out of 10 holiday

Everything was spotless and we wanted for nothing. The sauna and hot tub were excellent and a great facility to have after a days exploring. Met by the owner and everything explained with the offer of contact any time if any problems but everything went brilliantly so there was no need to speak again. Thankyou for a lovely stay
We were looking for a break which could have been taken in most areas of England or Wales.
We searched for days, making a shortlist, which ended with us choosing this property. Was it the right decision? Absolutely. As soon as we entered we felt at home, with comfy furniture, large television and fresh, clean surroundings. The bed was just right and led to super nights sleep. The property is not overlooked and although on a road and close to a junction, any traffic noise did not disturb us. The hot tub and sauna were real bonuses, completely private and a special place to relax. Although it is possible to walk in to Richmond, there being a footpath, it is a fairly busy road, with fast moving traffic and poorly lit. Instead take the car and use the parking disc provided by the hosts, which gives you two hours free parking. Our hosts even offered us a lift in to town for that special night out. You don't get that offer everywhere you stay! We can't rate this property too highly and can certainly recommend it.

Property was modern and clean with beautiful attention to detail in the decor and styling. Woodland View was a great place to have had a 3 night stay to recharge my batteries.
Arrival instructions were accurate and easy to follow with some greatly appreciated welcome touches on entry to the property - bottle of Prosecco, chocolates and bottled water - and a vase of fresh cut flowers made it feel a very warm welcome. Everything was immaculately presented. Many hours were had day & night enjoying the hot tub & the sauna. Definitely somewhere to seriously consider revisiting for another stay.
Having just spent Christmas at Woodland View, my brother and I would like to say a huge thank you to our fantastic hosts Alan and Angie.
The property is superb and the attention to detail first class, nothing is too much trouble for the hosts and the added extras like a bottle of bubbly and some Christmas chocolates were a lovely touch. A special thank you to Angie for our Christmas lunch that was a very unexpected but most welcome and delicious. We will definitely be returning to this amazing property and its super hosts.
Had a lovely stay at Woodland View last week of Oct 2021.
Excellent property and wonderful owners. Property was furnished and maintained to a high standard with the added bonus of the sauna and the hut tub, both of which we had to try out despite the the wind and chill of storm Arwen. The property is situated only around 10 mins walk from the nearest pub and only around 20-25 mins walk from the centre of Richmond. Nice touches on arrival, Bottle of Prosecco, some chocolates and fresh milk in the fridge to accompany the tea, coffee and biscuit basket. Property would definitely be at the top of the list for another stay if we revisit this area again.
We have just got back from our second stay at Woodland view and we have had the best time.
The hot tub and sauna are are brilliant additions and this is the perfect place to just hide away. We can’t wait to return for our next stay!

I would add a few things to the property, such as a hoover or long brush to sweep the floor and non slip mats in the shower but other than that it was amazing! The mats would have helped due to the pregnancy and hoover just because we like to keep it tidy. Thank you again.

It you don’t fancy driving into Richmond I highly recommend getting a taxi it was only £4.00 each way. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.
We stayed in Woodland View for 4 night at the end of September 2021, and we were impressed!
The accommodation had a sauna and hot tub, which was a lovely extra touch to the accommodation, especially if the weather prevents you from doing other activities. The accommodation was very modern, and had such a homely feel to it, which we loved. The host popped in to say hello on our first day and was lovely, and also offered to drop us off and pick us up for dinner from the nearby town! The host was also able to recommend some lovely local restaurants. The location of Woodland View is perfect for some ‘on the door step’ quick walks with countryside views into Richmond town, which we really enjoyed. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation!

What an amazing property both inside and out. Very cleverly designed, well equipped, very comfy bed, large garden, hot tub and sauna. Feels like you are out in the country but only 5 mins drive into Richmond itself. We had a great relaxing week and got to chat with the owners whose property is next door and they were very friendly and helpful. Tried to think of some negatives but failed! Hope to book again soon.
Web site didn’t say about sauna, which was a bonus on arrival and walks close by, big thank you to Alan and Angela,this was 5star plus absolutely stunning place ,amazing cottage set in wonderful gardens, also all the personal touches, fresh flowers and milk in fridge for a cuppa after a long drive,

The owners, Alan and Ange are delightful and very helpful. The facilities are perfect for a stay in the area. Loved the hot tub. Didn’t use the sauna as the weather was too hot. Great stay and would thoroughly recommend

The owners were so welcoming and offered to go above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The hot tub and sauna are an amazing compliment even in bad weather. The place itself is immaculate and had everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend and we can't wait to make this our go to for our anniversary which we are already looking at booking.

Woodland view is the most amazing holiday home, everything about it was perfect, the owners are lovely friendly people , the apartment had everything we needed and was so comfy and clean and bright, we enjoyed the complimentary Ferrero Roche and Prosecco in the amazing hot tub.
Fluffy dressing gowns and slippers were great ,the outdoor heater was brilliant and the outdoor furniture was so comfy which allowed us to have all our meals outside, the sauna was a lovely surprise too , we have already booked to return and cannot wait! Thankyou for a brilliant holiday
Woodland View is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location for country walks and visiting the lovely town of Richmond.

What can we say about Woodland View apart from WOW!
!! As far as holiday lets go, this has been by far the best we have stayed in. To say it's OCD immaculate would be an understatement. The property is amazing! Absolutely everything was catered for for our stay. The owners who live on site have really raised the bar in standards and facilities. The hottub was set at an ambient temperature for our arrival and Alan (owner) would check the ph levels early on a morning. In the cottage we found everything needed for a luxurious stay. We were welcomed with a stocked fridge including bottled water, milk and even Ferroro Rochers! Tea and coffee was also provided. For use of the hottub the owners even provide robes and disposable flip flops. All towels are freshly put out ready for use in either the hottub or the huge walk in shower. In each room you will find enormous TV's. We didnt use them but they look to be of best quality. The bed is king size and soooooo comfortable. It was that good that we snuck in a cheeky siesta! Honestly if you are looking for an amazing property to stay whilst in North Yorkshire then you would be crazy not to book this one. We have already been looking to book to go back next month and then 2 months after that...
Brand new property, conveniently but quietly located and with pleasant views.
Great hot tub (they provide bathrobes and slippers) and good privacy. Owners next door, responded quickly to texts and positively to the suggestions they asked for. Plenty to do in the area, and we'd certainly go there again. (PS it's so new it doesn't appear on satellite or street view - on the left coming from Catterick opposite two other fairly new properties.)
