The cottage

Nestled in the centre of the historic seaside town of Whitby, situated on the edge of the harbour, is this stunning end-of-terrace cottage.

Abrahams Cottage provides an exceptional modern interior with a light decor and laminate flooring, giving the property a warm and welcoming feeling.

Entering the property, you will be greeted to a spacious sitting room, with plenty of furniture to curl up on with your loved ones and enjoy some quality family time, whilst the electric fire keeps you warm.

Walk through to the second reception room with sofa bed ideal for quiet reading time, then through to the utility area, housing a dishwasher and washing machine, so you barely have to lift a finger during your trip.

The adjacent kitchen/diner provides all the modern appliances you could need to cook up a storm for the whole family, whilst the dining area is the perfect spot for family gatherings.

Resting on the first floor are three well-presented bedrooms, consisting of two doubles and one single bed, all with plush beds, plenty of storage space and lovely views across the town and harbour.

The family bathroom has an elegant fitted bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for your day.

You couldn't be better placed for exploring the wonderful history inside this seaside town, including the famous ruined Whitby Abbey.

Perched on a clifftop, this former abbey was said to have been the inspiration for Dracula and the home of the first known English poet, boasting a wealth of history and stunning views.

If country walks are your thing, then visit Pannett Park, where you can explore the themed gardens and the local history museum whilst your four-legged friend can run and stretch their legs.

Whitby beach is also popular with the locals and tourists, perfect for spending the afternoon relaxing on the soft sands, or swimming in the clear waters.

Challenge yourself to the famous 199 steps and see if you can make it to the top to find the sweeping views across the town and distant coastline.

Return to your traditional Yorkshire cottage for a relaxing evening with your loved ones.
