“The property was excellent, the views over the railway to the marina and Abbey beyond were pure Whitby.”

Whitby offers an excellent choice of pubs, restaurants, independent shops and cafes, with its quaint cobbled market place, narrow ginnels and beautiful harbour.

Children will delight in the long, sandy beaches, complete with donkey rides and brightly painted beach huts, whilst the seafront Spa Pavilion Theatre hosts shows and films throughout the main season.

There are numerous attractions in the vicinity, including the pretty market towns of Pickering and Helmsley and coastal villages, such as Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, whilst a must is a ride on the steam railway!
