The cottage was everything we wanted it was clean comfortable and we felt relaxed.

All the equipment was first class very usable. We are hoping to book the cottage again next year.

All Aboard was a wonderfully comfortable place to stay for our fortnight in Whitby.

It had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.

This property in Whitby is fantastic.

The location could not be better, in the middle of all the action and of course on top of the railway line so you get the best view of the passing steam trains. The hosts are first class and on arrival there is always little touches to greet you (cakes bread ect). We have stayed many times and hopefully will be back.

This was our 3rd visit to All Aboard and we have booked for next year Lovely cottage , clean and comfortable in a perfect location with outside space to sit and watch the trains go by, its own parking bay, fabulous views from lounge / diner and pet friendly , what more could you want .

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this cottage and have already booked for next year.

I cannot praise it enough, from the location right in the centre of Whitby on the flat with a much prized parking space. The owners made our stay as perfect as possible, all our needs were met, with a lovely welcome pack of home made bread a box of amazing lemon buns and a big bowl of fresh fruit. Plus the views from the cottage of the steam trains and the abbey in the distance isn’t to be sniffed at Would definitely recommend

A fabulous accommodation, one of the best we have stayed in.

Exceptionally clean and very well equipped, plus the lovely welcome pack that we all enjoyed ( even our pooch). Steam trains at the end of our garden added to our enjoyment. Whitby is such an enjoyable place, we will be back.

Nice, well equipped cottage in good central position.

Very clean with everything you need for a good holiday. We have stayed here several times and will return.

Just.

Two small suggestions have a small gate at the top of the stairs also a hand rail on both sides of the stairs.would help in a safety aspect.but other than these nothing more to be added the stay and accommodation was near perfect.

Had everything we needed. The welcome pack was a really nice touch. We would definitely stay again, but it's already booked for the holidays we have next year. Had a great week in Whitby, made all the better with the cottages Proximity to the centre, but far enough away to be quiet.

Such a lovely cottage overlooking the rail way lines, from which there was hardly any noise, just the odd whistle to warn the level crossing.

every thing in the cottage was comfortable. in fact we booked a return visit for next year.

Super accommodating owners have thought of everything, we wouldn’t hesitate to rebook ‘All Aboard’.

What a beautiful property.

All Aboard is a wonderful little cottage in the perfect location, you're only a short walk to the harbour. It's a really welcoming place and feels like a home from home. The parking space is a massive bonus too and you only have a few steps down to the cottage. The welcome gift was so thoughtful too, home made bread and cakes plus a bottle of milk, a bowl of fresh fruit and a vase of beautiful yellow roses. It has a really well equipped kitchen, even down to providing things like foil, food bags and kitchen roll. There was plenty of hanging space for clothes in the ample wardrobe in the main bedroom and it had plenty of hangers too which was a nice surprise. Tissues were left on each bedside table together with a set of earplugs which I thought was such a lovely touch. The owners have even had lovely wooden shutters put at the windows to help reduce the noise of the trains and to give you a lovely dark sleeping space. We took our puppy with us so the outside space at the back including the gravel lane was handy, the only downside was that it isn't a secure garden area so we had to have her on the lead when we let her out. We found the bed a little hard but that's just down to our personal preference and definitely would not put us off booking again. We have been coming to Whitby for over 20 years and this is by far one of the best places we have stayed in, no wonder it is always booked. Once you have stayed here you will definitely want to come back. We hope to be back again soon, thank you for such a lovely stay.

It is our second visit and the views are amazing of the abbey and the location is excellent , walking distance to the harbour , restaurants and shops .Also the steam trains are wonderful to look at when they go past the cottage.

It’s close to all the amenities on the flat and most importantly has a parking space right outside. The cottage itself is spotless well decorated and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Even to the point of leaving home made bread buns a large bowl of fresh fruit and flowers. I would definitely recommend staying here and have already booked for next year. We book many cottages in different locations through Sykes & this is by far the best on every level. Not only is it extremely well presented, it is well equipped & spotlessly clean.When we arrive we get a nice warm feeling as the cottage feels loved. From the lovely windows boxes on the outside to the flowers on the table & then there are all the extra touches a bowl full of fruit, fresh bread, milk in the fridge & an exciting treat to have with a mug of tea. Thank you Deb & Chris for another lovely home from home week. We will be back again next year.

We've stayed in this particular cottage on numerous occasions, back again in February.

It's always immaculately clean with thoughtful and useful extras. The location is perfect for an easy stroll into town and the parking is a bonus at busy times of the year.

The property was really nice and comfortable and very clean Also gifts were left for us which was really nice.

Although the floor lamp wasn't working and we could not find any new appropriate bulbs. We needed to use the torch, the batteries were flat and no new batteries, also we could not get Netflix on the TV.

A wonderful cottage.

We have stayed at a couple of the railway cottages, but this one really is special. So much was included, tea and coffee, fresh baked bread, Whitby lemon buns, and dog treats for our little fur baby. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had towels and bed linen provided. A lovely stay in a welcoming home from home.

This was a lovely comfortable cottage and we had a wonderful stay .

Totally enjoyed our stay at All Aboard it was easy to find, ample parking area.

Comfortable, clean and very welcoming. Lovely little items like flowers, cake, bread and milk. Not to far to walk into whitby although I struggle with walking I managed the short way. Lovely walk for the wee doggy just a 2 minute walk to a cinder path along the river esk. Plenty of dog friendly eateries. Highly recommend the Bridge Inn for Sunday lunch. Maybe a tumble dryer would be handy in the future.

We spent a superb week at this lovely holiday cottage , excellent location within easy walking distance to shop's the harbour and the cinder path ideal for family walks with the dog.

The steam trains were another added bonus ,I would definitely recommend this cottage to family and friends and we will definitely come back .

Lovely cottage - well equipped and clean - good position in Whitby - fun being near the railway - great place to wander about - beach is lovely with nice beach cafe in the centre of the beach huts.

The cottage was beautiful it was like home from home!

It’s a credit to the owners you can see how much time, effort & love they put into it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our dog & our elderly parents. The location was perfect , we would definitely be recommending it to everyone & hopefully booking again next year. And if anyone is concerned about the noise from the trains is not disturbing at all its lovely to see the steam train coming & going, great fun waving at all the passengers. The holiday cottage was immaculately clean, well furnished and very comfortable.

The owners had obviously put a lot of thought into every little detail. The cooking utensils were good quality, the knives were very sharp and the cooker and oven were spotless. A lovely welcome pack of home baked bread, cakes, fruit and milk were also provided. The house is ideally situated very close to the centre of Whitby with beautiful views of the harbour and abbey.

My third stay at All Aboard with my mum and once again we have had the best time.

Weather was a bit iffy but we were cosy and warm. Everything you need is on hand. Hoping to return again soon.

Lovely property for a holiday, clean, light, warm and comfortable with all the equipment that we needed for a very enjoyable stay.

Enjoyed the stay and the house was comfy and clean.

All the facilities that you want from a stay at a holiday home. I have only one grip, the extractor fan in th bathroom went on for eight minutes each time the light was put on in the bathroom. This was particularly frustrating at night as it was next to the bathroom and could be heard, had to feel our way in darkness through the night if we wanted to use the toilet as not to disturb others. I appreciate as there was is window, they have to have it going on automatically but the noise went on far too long in my opinion.

All Aboard is a lovely wee house.

It is clean, well maintained and cosy, with its own off road parking. Perfectly located 5 minutes from the centre of Whitby you can see the Abbey from the living room window. The personal touch of fresh bread, fruit and iced buns made us feel so welcome. This was our second visit to the property, and we hope to stay again soon.

Lovely cottage .

Well kept with great facilities. Cleanest cottage we have stayed in . Gutted I have already booked for next Christmas as I would rebook in a heartbeat. Cant fault anything . Just fantastic loved it

All Aboard is a lovely very well equipped, well maintained and extremely comfortable self catering cottage.

The owners care for their visitors by leaving basic provisions like bread, milk, fruit ,and cream buns.They also add a personal touch of a vase of flowers to welcome their guests. All Aboard is close to many amenities,such as a supermarket, railway station and bus station. It is also close to many fish and chip shops and of course Whitby harbour. If you like walking it is close to the Gravel trail, the river walk to Ruswarp and the beach walk to Sandsend. Looking forward to our next visit to All Aboard.

Excellent location right on the railway track where the steam trains go past.

Easy walking distance of harbour, Abbey and the Brewery. Cottage was spotlessly clean which is important to us, good size tv when you want a night in. Bathroom good, but be careful getting in out when having a shower - be much safer if it was a walk in shower.

It is well equipped, spotlessly clean & the owners are most thoughtful leaving little extras for us & our four legged friend. When we came in December the only thing that let the holiday down was the weather, This trip the weather was perfect & best of all the steam train was running. We spent several early evenings with a G&T or glass of beer watching & listening to them going past. Thank you so much Deb & Colin we had a great time & we will be back again.

All Aboard was fantastic!

It's location was great with the steam train passing by regularly (this is seasonal) and the parking space was a bonus. The owners had thought of everything needed for the stay. There was a selection of beach equipment too, shopping bags were left. The rooms were also fitted with shutters that completely block noise and light but ear plugs were also left. The kitchen was well equipped and good cookware, that was commented by a chef. Just fantastic.

Another lovely holiday at all aboard.

Cottage has all you need and is very clean and comfortable. Appreciated the milk fruit, bread and biscuits left by the owner. Location is fab, a few minutes walk to whitby Town centre and the beach. Also steam trains pass back of cottage daily. Would definitely recommend All Aboard cottage.

Fabulous holiday cottage in the centre of Whitby.

Own parking space which was a huge bonus. This cottage is spotlessly clean with everything that you need for a holiday. The freshly made bread on arrival was lovely. We enjoyed watching the steam train come and go. There is a large co op a couple of minutes walk away. Plenty of fabulous walks if you take a dog with you. Highly recommended.

This lovely property has everything you need for a wonderful holiday in Whitby including a much needed parking space. Glorious sunshine, steam trains, the best fish and chips at Mister Chips. A great start to my 60th birthday celebrations.

it was like home from home

I booked this property for my daughter, son in law, little boy and their dog.

Upon arrival she was felt the extra touches like flowers, milk, biscuits etc made it seem more personal. It had a home from home feel. The cottage was very clean and warm. She was thrilled with how close the cottage was to the town. It made it so convenient to go back in the middle of the day when her little boy needed a sleep or some downtime. A bonus was the parking right outside the cottage and not having to drive round looking for parking spaces. She would definitely go again.

Very homely. Fresh flowers, bread, fruit and milk. Decorated for Christmas. Would love to go back. Loved the other little extras, including the earplugs for the early train, although we didn't need them as we are early risers.

Ideally situated just 5mins walk from town. 10 -15 min walk to beach. Lovely homemade bread for us and fresh flowers make you feel very welcome. This is the best property we've had through Sykes and we've had about 15 in last 3 years.

... this cottage was amazing from start to finish. On arrival we went into the cottage which smelt amazing, then were welcomed with milk in the fridge, fruit in the bowl, a lovely homemade loaf of bread and a jar of treats to help ourselves to for our four-legged friend. Kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for self catering and even had tea, coffee, sugar, oils, salt, pepper, vinegar etc. Lovely set out of the cottage with living upstairs and sleeping down, beds were comfy and bedding was lovely and crisp and the towels smelt amazing, in bedside drawers were earplugs in a lovely organza bag.. For those who don't want disturbing by the morning train. Fantastic cleaning cupboard filled with all you need, it is a real home from home experience and really well kitted out. Loved watching the steam trains and people just going about their day sat out in the flagged garden and all they asked of us was.... to water the plants, which was a pleasure to do for such a fantastic stay. Local facilities 5 mins walk away.

Fantastic base for all the sites to visit and close to the town center.

Be prepared for the trains but thats why we booked this lovely place. We had no complaints at all very well equipped spotlessly clean cannot fault our stay at all. Whitby is a fantastic place to visit and very very dog friendly even a lot of the cafes had doggy tables .

Being right net to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway its a steam buffs dream location but it's well within reach of the twon centre. This was our second visit to all abourd and I'm sure we will be back. Superb week in an outstanding property.

When we arrived we walked into a lovely clean, safe and warm environment and the house stayed warm all the week we were there.

The kitchen was very well equipped, it made a change to find that all the knives in the knife block were nice and sharp and a sharpener in the drawer to keep them that way, all too often that is not the case also plenty of pots, pans and glasses etc. All in all we spent a very pleasant week in Whitby at this house, close enough to the centre to be handy for shops and restaurants but far enough away to be nice and quiet. I would highly recommend this property.

Brilliant little cottage in a great location.

Everything you need and more. Welcome pack, dog biscuit, Neflix, WiFi, ear plugs (for trains and seagulls). Neither bothered us. Great local walks and near to the the town and harbour. Very very clean and cosy. The train was fascinating to see but not very frequent. The owners went out of there way to help with a local purchase. Parking is a bonus in Whitby as well. We had a lovely week and would stay in All Aboard again given the opportunity.

A perfect base in Whitby.

The cottage was extremely clean and well equipped. The trains passing at the bottom of the garden were a highlight of the holiday.

The owners of this cottage go the extra mile and make you feel they really care about your comfort with nothing missing and lots of extras that you don’t get elsewhere.

It’s spotlessly clean and truly home from home . They even leave you earplugs to try and stop the noise of the early morning seagull cry’s , we didn’t use them but they are there if you need them.

Ideal in every form and I am sure to return.

We had a really nice break at this cottage which was very well equipped, clean, warm and very comfortable, we loved the fact that we could walk into Whitby which had lots to do and see.

We were amazed at the small details like lots of toilet rolls, soap, shower gel, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, coffee pods for machine, milk, tea, coffee, bin liners, dog biscuits, even shopping bags. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a break in Whitby.

First of all to say that the house was excellent all round is an understatement.

It has the wow factor as soon as you enter. It is very well situated being just a short walk/hop into the centre of town and to the railway and bus stations. The Coop supermarket just 5 minutes by foot away is well stocked. The location means that you can head out of town in several directions quite quickly.Could not find fault with the property.

This property was one of the best we have stayed in.

The cleanliness was superb, the touches added by the owner with fruit and flowers was appreciated and the location was great for access to the town without a car being needed. Being right next to the steam railway was a bonus.We would certainly want to stay there in the future.

Fantastic accommodation in a brilliant location.

This is by far the best holiday cottage we have stayed in, in over 30 years. The owners went above and beyond to provide everything we could want, even left biscuits for the Dog.

A comfortable cottage in an excellent location (very handy for shops and transport for those holidaying without a car - the passing steam trains are a bonus!

). The cottage has been very recently and tastefully modernised. It was scrupulously clean and very well equipped, with additional welcoming touches which were much appreciated.

Fab views! Clean and airy! Comfy beds. Little gift of fruit and flowers on arrival! Definitely going back to this place. For train lovers the steam engines run by closely!!!

All Aboard is a very good holiday cottage.

the living here is easy.The kitchen is very very well equipped with every thing you could possibly enjoyed the nice new king size bed. perhaps we could have preferred less powerful air freshener and strongly perfumed hand wash.

Another great week in All Aboard really nice coming into flowers, tea/coffee and fruit bowl, bedding really clean and fresh, disappointed we're unable to book for September as fully booked, need to be quicker as getting busier.

This holiday rental is fabulous, it has its own private parking space too which is a bonus in Whitby.

The cottage is spotless throughout and spacious too and it has everything you could wish for. The beds are comfy with lovely bedding and really nice towels in the bathrooms . The owners have really put a lot of thought and hard work into this place. Yes some nights you do hear the odd seagull but they even provide ear plugs for this if needed be but we never used them as it wasn't a problem for us during our 4 night stay. It is only a short gentle stroll into the main parts of Whitby. We would highly recommend this place to everyone it is FABULOUS. Thank you for our stay x

All Aboard is a fantastic place to stay, ideally located for the centre of whitby, or to use as a base for exploring the local villlages along the east coast.

It's a little gem.

Great property in a good location, lovely views over whitby and the railway line, watching the steam trains, 2 minute walk to town centre, and parking space at property!

Sounds like a cliche but this really was home crom home.

Cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Amazing views and it was lovely to watch the steam trains passing by. Very welcoming touches on arrival - tea/coffee/milk & biscuits, bowl of fruit and a lovely vase of flowers on the table. I would definitely recommend it. We looked to book for the same dates next year, but unfortunately the price has more than doubled which has put it out of our price range.

The property was excellent, the views over the railway to the marina and Abbey beyond were pure Whitby.

(Ignore the Car Park) The cottage had all mod cons and they all worked.

It was really nice to come in to a nice welcome pack especially the lovely bowl of fruit, very clean, bedding really nice, couldn't have picked a better week weather wise, looking forward to coming back next year.

A few minor points, because all of the electrical equipment is in the open plan living area this space would benefit from a fan as can get very hot- luckily we took one with us Would be a nice touch to have a visitors book we have found other people’s comments helpful in planning days out and where to eat If your going to leave information on walks make sure they are up to date ie number for padlock on gates

Waking to a steam train under the front window, what could be better?

You get plenty of waving practice with this property responding to all the railways passengers on the north Yorkshire Moors Railway. Having its own parking and I easy reach of the town centre All Aboard is a great base for seeing Whitby and the surrounding area

There was nothing to fault about the cottage.

It was ideally situated to explore Whitby and the rest of North Yorkshire. My husband really enjoyed the proximity of the steam trains.

We were disappointed with the amount of steps to enter the property from the car park.

Were unaware of this until we received the final instructions. Feel this should be shown on the initial advertising.

We have been visiting Whitby for the past 25 years and All aboard is by far one of the most perfect accommodation's we have stayed in.

I am very fussy about cleanliness and All aboard did not disappoint, the facilities and location were also perfect. We have already booked for next year to avoid disappointment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) A FABULOUS PLACE TO STAY

Immaculate cottage with everything you could possibly need.

Milk for tea and biscuits were a lovely touch too after a long drive. My husband and dog really enjoyed themselves and although we did not use them the picnic bag and selection of games were really lovely unexpected surprises. We hope to book again but hopefully for a longer stay next time as we found ourselves very upset to leave such a beautiful place. Thanks again from Mr & Mrs Hayes and Pepsi the dog x

All aboard cottage is a credit to the owner, very clean warm and cosy.

would gladly book this cottage again next time we are going to Whitby for a holiday.Close to the town not much of a walk 10 mins at most.

What a difference from the last time we were down, cottage was spotless and comfortable there's always something different to look at even the weather was much better this time, looking forward to going back down to All Aboard in March.
