Lots of room for a family or group. The place has a covered parking space which stopped the gulls from covering the car.

I have used this place numerous times and each time left feedback to say 2 sets of keys would be much easier. Still there's only 1 set. 3 couples do not always want to go to the same place.

Comfy bed and good bedding and towels. Underground secure parking fantastic as Whitby is busy and parking can be expensive and you can end up having to park away from your accommodation. Close to town centre, rail and bus services. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

  • "The apartment was beautifully clean, well equipped and ideally situated so that we were within walking distance of all the amenities, but far enough away from the centre to be nice and quiet."

Our only request would be for some baby gates to be installed on the stairs. We had our 7 month old son with us, who is crawling and although we managed by just shutting doors to keep him safe, with an older toddler, baby gates may have been a safer option.

  • "A very spacious and well equipped apartment, in a great location."

This flat is right by the bus and train station, and enjoys good views of the river and abbey. It is close to the centre but away from the crowds. We were a party of 6 adults, and found the accommodation to be perfectly suited to our needs. Unusually for a holiday let, we found there was plenty of storage space in the lounge, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. There was more than enough cutlery and crockery too. Having an underground parking space was a great bonus (if your party is taking more cars permits can be purchased from the tourist office, which is near the accommodation). The only criticism I have is that the bath towels were tiny (not bath sheets that I’m used to) and there weren’t enough small towels provided. If I went again I’d take my own.

  • "There is a lot to like about this apartment."

The location is great as you can walk to the town to get shopping or to go for a walk along the beautiful coastline, undeground secure parking is a nice bonus. We liked the views, comfy sofas and how spacious the place was. However, the bathrooms were looking a bit 'tired' and could do with a revamp, also the beds were slightly uncomfortable. Otherwise it is a great spot for a getaway for families or groups of friends alike.

We are so pleased to hear that this was your fifth time at the property and thank you so much for your loyalty. We have stayed at the apartment this past ourselves and agree with you that some things are looking a little tired in some respects. We have spent the week updating the apartment and rearranging the layout, which we now believe will make the apartment even more enjoyable for our guests. We hope very much to welcome again on a further occasion. Thank you so much for your amazing feedback. Property Owner

Holidays with a two and three year old can be challenging but the apartment was a true home away from home even had a nightlight for my boys. The location is perfect easy walk to shops and town centre. The bedrooms are very good size, the sofas in the living room are very comfy. The apartment as a whole is beautiful, if I could live there full time, I would. Will definitely be back.

It has obviously been redecorated recently. The underground carpark was very useful as parking in Whitby can be tricky and expensive. The location could hardly be better, just a 5 minute stroll to the shops and harbour and with a good view. We were very lucky with the weather and able to do loads of local walks.

The apartment was spacious with everything we needed, our only dislike were the electric heaters as I didn’t feel confident leaving these on whilst we were out and it took a long time to warm the place up when we returned. but overall we had a lovely time and would consider returning.

Apartment very spacious and clean. Very good location. Though the loo brushes need updating. Need to be aware of the powerful Spring on the apartment door. It swung fiercely, hitting me on the side of my head as we were about to leave for home. It left me dazed with a large lump on my head! I had to drive, so this was not good.

  • "Just a few small niggles really."

The kettle needs to be replaced, not pleasant inside at all. The kitchen is not that well equipped really in terms of utensils. More information on the recycling would be thoughtful instead of having to search the bin area. A bin for each waste type would be sensible with refuse bags supplied to suit. A second set of keys would also be useful. Cleanliness was OK but some more attention should be given to details such as the kettle (resorted to saucepan) , utensils, glasses all of which had to be washed prior to use. Nothing particularly dramatic but would help to improve the review.

Access is easy for driving and walking, the only suggestion would be to give 2 sets of keys as when 6 people are sharing, they may differ in outings. Whitby is welcoming and facilitating.

Secure parking. Everything you need to have a good holiday. Warm and well equipped. Description is a little off. The Juliet balcony is off the lounge not the bedroom. Also the family bedroom is at the rear of the property and doesn't have harbour views. There's also a WC downstairs which is a bonus but not mentioned in the description. None of this detracts from the holiday but anyone booking should know. Would definitely stay again.
