Stowaway Cottage

The cottage was clean and comfortable.

The location of the cottage was ideal for our short break to Whitby, not far from the busy centre and harbour, on a quiet road.

So you ask for a review.

Well we didn’t go. I tried to phone you and got an automated answer, I used your WhatsApp line and got an automated answer. I wanted to tell you we wouldn’t be going out of curtesy as my wife fell ill. In fact if you a human not a bot checked your WhatsApp you’ll probably find my message and here you are looking for a review. Well I’ve marked the cottage as excellent as I’m sure it was. But Sykes, get your act together we want to communicate with a person not a machine that’s why I marked you down.

Fantastic position in Whitby every thing is only a 5 minute walk to the harbour and the beach and captain Cook monument.

We recently stayed at Stowaway Cottage in Whitby for 4 nights with our dog and had a wonderful time.

The cottage is in a fantastic location, with an easy walk into the town centre and harbour, while West Cliff and the beaches are also just a short stroll away. It was ideal for us and our dog, with plenty of places to walk nearby. The cottage was very clean, spacious and well maintained throughout. The large bathroom was a particular highlight, featuring a modern walk-in shower with plenty of room. Overall, Stowaway Cottage provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay in Whitby. Comfortable accommodation, great facilities and an excellent location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend it to others visiting Whitby.

The cottage is in a great location and is both clean and comfortable as described.

The only thing that we missed was a TV in the main bedroom, otherwise it would have being five stars out of five, Enjoyed our stay and will be rebooking again, thank you.

It is a beautiful apartment and was perfect for our elderly dog.

It is decorated beautifully and was warm and cosy. We will be back!

Another lovely break at this great apartment.

Hope to be be back again, next year.

Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, everything you need.

The only downside was the noise from the apartment above

Perfect little getaway, everything we needed for our short break.

Being school holiday season I was concerned about parking but luckily we got a space in the zones with the card provided. they are like gold dust as soon as we moved someone pulled in. We all Loved the area, if you don’t like hills don’t go to Whitby

What a beautiful apartment in a perfect location, we loved our stay and will most definitely stay again

Superb apartment.

Everything catered for. Extremely clean, tidy, everything worked, great location, good comms from the owners/managers

Some instructions on where the bins were kept and also clearer information on the parking system would be helpful.

Property very clean and comfortable

Location and accommodation was excellent.

Accommodation was very clean with everything that we needed. Will definately return.

Brilliant little cottage.

Clean and warm, central location. We had a great stay and would return.

Needs a bit of painting.

But otherwise very happy .

The only thing that could be improved is the duvet cover on yhe double bed.

The press studs were broken and the duvet cover kept rolling up in the night and coming off, which didn't feel very hygienic. I enjoyed the stay otherwise. Lovely property and excellent location

Stowaway cottage was very clean and comfortable.

The location was excellent being just a few minutes walk from the sea front and the town centre. The property had all the facilities we needed. We would highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Had a great stay unfortunately we had 3days as car broke down on Friday couldn’t get down till Tuesday so we payed £678 for three days not one sign of some refund.

that was not our fault so I would not recommend paying a year in advance.

Lovely cottage, modern and relaxing.

Easy walking distance to whitby. Would definately recommend.

Great little cottage ,located well for amenities all furnishings top quality .

Only problem was finding it but plenty parking nearby Only things are Lino in lovely toilet needs stretching out slight trip hazard but overal lovely cottage

Fantastic cottage with everything we needed.

Plenty of room for our dog. With a great location close to everything. Lots of early morning beach walks. We highly recommend this property.

Described accurately and more modern appliances than at home!

Not having Sky, tv was often complicated to work, but certainly not a drawback!

Great cottage, very clean and tidy and well positioned in the town.

Would happily book again :-)

We enjoyed a few days in Whitby for my friend's 70th birthday and Stowaway cottage was a warm, comfortable place to stay.

Clean, well equipped and plenty of space for us and our canine companions. As older visitors a handrail at the door to help us up the step would be welcome as would another in the shower (I was using the towel rail for support). Somewhere to hang towels would be useful.

Really enjoyed our stay at Stowaway which started with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits left by the owner.

Great week out and about in Whitby knowing that you were coming back to the comfort of the property. Would certainly use again.

A small handrail outside the front door would be a help to older guests.

We had a very comfortable stay, so nice inside and well equipped.
