  • "Lovely apartment, location brilliant, parking appreciated"

  • "Lovely apartment."

Very comfortable and warm. Comfy sofa, chairs and beds. Everything required was provided. Lift and bus stop right outside door are a boon to people of a certain age and people with limited mobility. Balcony and secure car parking space a real bonus.

  • "Excellent accommodation."

Bright and airy furnishings providing everything we needed. The secure parking and roof top terrace were much appreciated. The location is ideal being mid-way between the town and the West Cliff area. We have re-booked for next already. The only negatives were the too warm mattress toppings, the sluggish water pressure in the shower and the lack of instructions for operating the blinds in the main room. Support from Fiona at Yorkshire Coastal Cottages was superb.

  • "Immaculate, top quality furnishings, dinner ware and glasses."

Absolutely everything provided in the way of kitchen utensils, cleaning products, little things like binbags, etc. Lovely welcome gift and the binoculars were a perfect item to view the Abbey and ships sailing at sea. Lovely views. Private parking a total selling point.

  • "This is an excellent maintained property, with a large outside balcony which has amazing views of the sea and the abbey, the owners have thought of everything and it's really home from home, everything you need is in the property, and its really central to the centre of whitby and the parking space is an added bonus, as parking is very difficult in the centre."

We really enjoyed our stay and, would definitely book this property again. Regards Sheila & Tony Byrne

  • "Recently spent a mid week break at the Sunset Veiw."

This elevated open plan apartment is up there with the best, it is light , airey and extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean all round. The beds are very comfortable and the towels are soft and fluffy. The walk down to Whitby harbour takes approximately 10 minutes, but be aware the walk back is inclined. However this apartment is highly recommended and a return visit for sure.Total satisfaction.
