We had a excellent stay at the apartment and it had everything we needed.

Very quiet location out of the way with parking outside your window. Nice walk into Whitby town via the cinder track accessed off the estate. Would definitely stay again when visiting Whitby.

Brilliant quality accommodation i have used many time's It has everything you need in a fantastic location parking right out side so no need to worry about your car Easy walking distance in to Whitby about 10 to 15 minutes

Overall a very nice property within a short walk to central Whitby.

This is our 3rd stay at Woodside view, just as enjoyable as the first two.

Lovely welcome pack with wine, milk and teabags. Very warm and comfortable, we will be back to stay again.

Fab location . It was quite clean,the skirting boards and surfaces could have done with a good dusting but I would still stay here again and would definetly recommend.

Also loved the location, slightly out of town but on a very quiet, clean new development five minute drive from town or a 15 minute walk down some (steep and sometimes slippy) steps onto the Cinder Path, easily accessed from the development. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and wine very much appreciated. Apartment has everything you could need, clear instructions, felt very safe. We will be back - thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was great.

Really lovely and clean with well considered decor throughout.

This was our 2nd stay this year in Woodside view and just as good as the 1st stay.

The apartment is well equipped, clean spacious and very good parking, everything thing we needed as a couple. Hopefully we will be back next May for another week, looking forward to it.

This property was perfect for us.

The location was fabulous. Minutes away from the Abbey, the beach ,the town. Parking right outside and a ground floor apartment which was perfect for someone with mobility issues. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. A nice touch with the bottle of wine left for us. Will definitely be back.

Once again a brilliant relaxing break me and my late wife have uesed this accommodation a few time This time I was alone as my wife passed away September 2024 after 12 year battle with cancer she loved this flat I came to celebrate are wedding anniversary It's the perfect flat with ideal location short work into Whitby or walk along the cinder track I Will be booking again l love this flat thank you

We have to give this apartment 10/10, well furnished, comfortable beds, very clean, excellent value for the money and even the shared communal areas were nice and clean.

The apartment is well positioned in the corner of the estate of houses looking out to the countryside, nice walk into Whitby town and right next to the cinder track. We will definitely book this apartment again when we come to Whitby for another holiday.

The apartment is relatively new, well furnished and has good soundproofing.

Generally clean, although skirting boards where furniture was placed and carpet underneath the sofa were quite dirty. TV did not receive terrestrial channels (BBC, ITV etc) so did not work properly. Instructions regarding how to use the Freesat were followed but did not work - TV showed a message that a signal could not be found. All input options were attempted ( HDMI 1, 2 etc). A previous holiday maker had also noted that the TV did not work. Could use Smart TV apps such as Amazon Prime and Netflix though, but only if you had already subscribed to them. Mattresses on all beds were very springy and uncomfortable to sleep on.

We had a lovely stay.

The owner called to tell us about the dodgy door lock. I've fed back a couple of small issues. It was very clean, nicely decorated and in a good location. The settee is very low which was an issue for my Mum but there are 2 armchairs too. We would stay again.

Owner rang to say new locks being fitted incase we had difficulty but all was well when we arrived . Only down sides if you could be picky was Could not access WIFi but did not bother us may cause other people problems and settee quite low other than that Great place to stay.

A modern, clean & comfortable apartment, lovely view from the living room window, couple of minutes walk to a play area which our 4yr old loved and the cinder path, about a 10-15 walk into Whitby, had everything we needed and would happily return.

The is a well presented and clean property finished to a high standard and very comfortable.

Parking is excellent and the location is ideally situated within a 20 minute walk of Whitby and ideal for exploring the surrounding area.

The property is generally great, in a great location – but…….

. Although the property is clean and welcoming but there are a number of minor issues most of which could easily be rectified at very little cost. I note that others have made the same or similar comments in previous reviews over the last eighteen months or so which have not been addressed.. Bags that don’t fit kitchen bin, only two saucepans – with no lids, no washing up liquid (only six mugs so needed for frequent washing during the day), no kitchen roll and a few other ‘missing’ kitchen items – e.g. a small sharp knife (not serrated) for peeling fruit, chopping vegetables etc. It’s almost impossible to use the shower without flooding the bathroom floor owing to a one-inch gap at the bottom of the shower screen and no seal or means of keeping the screen in place. On a more personal note we found the entry doors very heavy and difficult to open particularly if you’re carrying anything – e.g. shopping or luggage. Of course I accept that they are fire doors but even so….! Another worry is if you go outside, to the car for example, you MUST take the door keys with you otherwise WILL be locked out !

...Good location only 15 minute walk to Whitby. The Cinder Track public footpath only 3 minutes from property,with great walks.

Apartment was beautiful, some attention to the cleaning i.

e dust in areas such as on the fake plants and pipes near the radiators. Also a tv for the main bedroom would of been nice.

Had a wonderful stay in a quite, modern clean apartment a short 15 minute walk into Whitby

The property is stunning, furnished beautifully and in a super location.

However there are some cleaning issues that tainted it slightly. E.g. skirting boards have not been cleaned in a good while, the faux plant in the bathroom the same. Other surfaces also hadn’t been dusted properly, windows and stainless surfaces like kitchen bin & cooker wiped with wet cloth and left streaky & smeary. Also silly things that could easily be put right e.g bags don’t fit kitchen bin so when you put anything in the bag falls to the bottom. No washing up liquid or dishwasher tabs, which meant we had to leave our dirty pots until the following day when we had chance to pick some up. No lids for saucepans, only 2 wine glasses which didn’t match etc. broken bathroom bin. Having said all that, we did enjoy our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future.

The Apartment was lovely.

Spotless throughout and everything we needed was there. It was comfortable and stylish. It was lovely and quiet and just a short walk from the centre of Whitby. I would definitely go again and recommend to friends.

The only gripe we had was the bath towels were not nice, clean looking or fresh looking, if we had known we would have brought our own

An absolutely lovely apartment, modern and clean.

Nice and quiet are with a parking spot! Just outside the main main town with a 15-20mins walk at a leisurely pace. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Whitby.

This ground floor flat is light and bright and airy and being in a cul de sac with no through road and surrounded by fields is very peaceful and yet only 5/10 minutes from the town. The kitchen is fully equiped and includes full size fridge and freezer which is great for those who want a weekly shop. The lounge has comfy but very low sofa however also has two more upright wing chairs which are great for those with mobility issues. The local park and ride is also nearby which is handy for those wanting to into Whitby with the added bonus the route it takes allows allows you to see the layout of town more easily. Sainsburys and other stores are also a short drive away. All in all a very convenient location with parking right outside the door.
