In the gorgeous seaside resort town of Withernsea, you'll be spoilt for choice of things to do; walk down the road to Withernsea Beach and tan on the sand or paddle in the water, visit Withernsea Lighthouse Museum for some local history and when you're feeling hungry, check out Old Boat Shed pub for a heartwarming meal, the beach-side The Rosy Leaf cafe for a lighter lunch.

Take a scenic drive to the port city of Hull and head to The Deep aquarium showcasing a wide range of sea life, for another touch of history visit Ferens Art Gallery with its medieval sculptures and paintings, and catch an opera or ballet performance at the 1930 restored Hull New Theatre.

On your journey up to the lovely seaside town of Hornsea, stop and take a tour around the 1560 Burton Constable Hall & Grounds, then visit Bugtopia Hornsea Zoo for a tropical rainforest experience where you'll see many exotic creatures, and end the day with a family dinner at the seafront pub, Captain Williams.
