Holly Cottage

The cottage was amazing, exactly as described.

We enjoyed sitting in the garden and enjoying the tranquil environment.

What a lovely cottage!

We brought our small grandchildren and our dog here for 3 days and it worked perfectly. The enclosed garden is a real bonus and we were able to eat and play outside. The cottage is very clean and well equipped and everything has been well thought through for guests. A bonus having the pub next door where we ate a couple of times and the food and staff were great. Thank you

We absolutely loved Holly Cottage.

It was beautifully decorated and immaculate. There is a downstairs shower room and an ensuite shower room upstairs. The lounge had two comfy couches, a woodburner and a smart TV. The lovely kitchen was incredibly well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Everything you could possibly think of was provided. There was also a lovely garden to enjoy. The location, right next door to a smashing pub and a very short drive from Whitby, was perfect. We loved it and really hope to stay again in the future.

Holly Cottage is a comfortable,well equipped and welcoming cottage, we enjoyed our stay there, The owners of the cottage are a very pleasant and helpful couple with any queries.

The Forge pub is close by and would recommend food. We would recommend the cottage for future visitors.

We had a lovely stay at Holly cottage.

Everything was beautifuly clean. The beds were so comfortable and the linen and towels were super. We were lucky to meet the lovley owners who resolved a minor issue and were really apologetic.

The property was clean and very well maintained.

We found the deep step from the shower difficult to manage. Provision of a fan to circulate the air in hot weather would be an advantage.

What a lovely cosy cottage, we booked a last minute getaway over the Easter Weekend, we love Whitby, we found a little walk all the way to Whitby then got the bus back, the cottage its self has everything we needed, very clean and tidy, thank you for the Easter eggs, a lovely little touch!

We all have had a super break and enjoyed sitting in the garden and having a light refreshment at "The Forge" where we were welcomed by a lovely community. The food there is amazing. The bus route is great too. We headed to beautiful Robin Hoods Bay for lunch and fossil hunting. We enjoyed using our paddle boards and had a lovely time at Ruswarp Pleasure Boats as well as a beautiful lunch at 'Perrys Plants' in Briggswath. Thank you for sharing your Beautiful Home, we will be back

We have had a wonderful few days break in this beautifully presented cottage.

Because we were only here for a short time we ate out, mostly at the Forge, but we can see that the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. It was lovely to find walks from the doorstep for our dog Bella. We walked the Aislaby Trail found in the guest book - lovely although a challenging hill walk back. We broke up the walk with a stop at the garden centre cafe in Briggswath.

Had an amazing few days.

The cottage was superb. We loved it. Lots of walking and beach combing, found some amazing things on the beach. The cottage is ideally situated for Whitby and the other beaches. The cottage was spotless well equipped. Will definitely come again. Thank you for everything.
