Step inside to discover a spacious open-plan living area, thoughtfully arranged to blend the kitchen, dining space, and sitting area into one sociable environment.

The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you need for straightforward self-catering, whether you’re preparing a hearty breakfast before a day’s walking or returning later for a relaxed evening meal.

Gather around the dining table to savour shared dishes and conversation, before drifting into the sitting area to unwind, browse the Smart TV, or finalise plans for the next day’s adventures.

The sleek bathroom, complete with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC, provides a refreshing spot to begin and end each day.

Outside, the patio garden extends the living space, offering a charming place to sit out with a morning brew or enjoy leisurely evenings in the fresh Yorkshire air.

Skipton itself presents plenty to discover from your doorstep.

Stroll along the Leeds–Liverpool Canal towpath, browse the vibrant Skipton Market, or explore the medieval walls and rooms of Skipton Castle.

Just a few minutes’ walk away, you’ll also find Aireville Park, a family favourite with a fantastic children’s playground, a skatepark, and large open spaces.

The train station, just a short walk from your door, can whisk you directly to the charming town of Settle and into the heart of Ribblesdale, gateway to the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks: Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough.

These iconic summits draw walkers from around the world, offering incredible views and a true taste of the Dales’ wild beauty.

Being right on the edge of the National Park means you can also reach highlights like Grassington, with its cobbled charm, and the dramatic limestone wonder of Malham Cove, in just a short drive.

Malham is not only a natural spectacle but also a filming location for the famous Harry Potter series (the penultimate film), making it an atmospheric spot for fans as well as walkers.

More filming locations can be found scattered across the Dales for those who want to follow in the footsteps of the wizarding world.

Nearby is Bolton Abbey, one of Yorkshire’s most beloved beauty spots.

With riverside walks, ancient ruins, family-friendly trails, and cosy cafés, it’s a fantastic destination for walkers and adventurers alike.

SKIPTON

Grassington 9 miles; Harrogate 20 miles.

Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. In 2014, The Sunday Times named Skipton as Britain's "best place to live" and two years later placed it among the nine best towns in Yorkshire and the North-East. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton with the 1 mile long Foulridge Tunnel and the 5-rise locks at Bingley within a short travel. Golf, swimming, squash, tennis and snooker are all available locally and the excellent public transport means the car can be left at home!
