  • "This is a great well appointed property, very comfortable and clean."

    As it was christmas there was a lovely christmas tree in the living room. No expense has been spared making this a great property to stay in. It has all the necessary mod cons to make your stay very enjoyable. It was nice to see the horses every morning and the views were great. Its location gives easy to local towns and villages. We’ll certainly be staying again.

    Spotlessly clean. Warm welcome from the owner. Very relaxing, comfortable and enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again. We had many rainy days whilst we were there but to sit watching the rain blow against the windows reading a book with the logs crackling in the log burner was perfect and helped us both to relax.

  • "We had a lovely stay."

    Very peaceful with wonderful surroundings. A big bonus to have TV in the bedroom as so many holiday rentals do not. Spotlessly clean with a lot of attention to detail throughout the property. We will have no hesitation recommending Orcaber farm . We will return but in one of the other rentals so our dog can join us.

From the grounds, you can enjoy far‑reaching views towards two of the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks – Ingleborough and Pen‑y‑Ghent, creating a truly special backdrop to your stay.

Guests also have access to a shared picnic area beside the river, a lovely spot to sit back, relax and soak up the tranquil surroundings.

Full of character and charm, this stylish retreat is perfect for couples seeking a romantic escape in one of North Yorkshire’s most captivating landscapes.

After a day exploring heather‑clad moors and windswept valleys, return to the inviting open‑plan living space and sink into the sumptuous sofa beside the impressive wood‑burning stove, the heart of the room.

The contemporary kitchen is thoughtfully equipped for preparing home‑cooked meals, best enjoyed together at the dining table with a glass of wine.

Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is arguably one of the finest areas for walking in the region. With limestone pavements and scars, caves and open moors, the area has a wealth of natural interest and there are wonderful cycle tracks and walks on the doorstep. Austwick boasts a local pub serving excellent home cooked meals and a country hotel for something a little more special, as well as a shop and Post Office for visitors’ daily requirements. This quiet village is nicely off the beaten track, yet the market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton and Kendal are all within easy driving distance.
