We loved our stay the only fault can come up with was no toilet or shower and having to use the commercial one.
But I probably didn't look into the details properly and next time will book the lodges that do come with it, could use the Swimming pool at any time and loved waking up to the sheep and Goats and feeding them in the mornings. We loved it
First night dogs barking all night and last night dog howling every thing was very good
Overall the property was ok and we will stay in this location again, just not in the Cosy Cocoon pod as the lack of a toilet and shower was a bigger issue than we expected.
the walk to the communal area was 70m which was ok but not at night on uneven ground. the lock on the shower in the block did not lock properly and the light did go out before we were finished. the lack of toilet/shower was noted in the description so can not vote it down for that but there were a few ants in the pod so we felt like we had to keep the crumbs down to a minimum. even though the pod was dog friendly is was a good thing we did not bring him as the garden area was not enclosed. we would not have been able to let him out on his own. the pool and hot tub were great. we did have people walk past the pod or feel overlooked and watching the animal while in the hot tub was great. the location was great for things to do and we will definitely stay here again but not in the cosy cocoon pod. will stay at this location again but in one of the other pods that have their own showers.
