Starlight Sanctuary

We had an amazing 4 night stay here, when we arrived we were greeted by the super friendly alpacas and goats.

Get up early for the beautiful sunrise over the farm and stay up late for the fantastic stargazing from the hot tub. There are lots of beautiful walks nearby and the local pubs were lovely. The cabin was cosy and clean and had everything we needed, I would wholeheartedly recommended this place for a gorgeous and peaceful getaway.

Fantastic location great value for money , Facilities were plentiful with an added bonus of indoor heated pool which was lovely also.

The only thing that we could grumble about which we spoke to the lady owner about was the pull out sofa bed was almost sat to the floor and mattress on bed was very uncomfortable. But all in all we would highly recommend hartswood farm and we're hoping to go back but in the cottages next time. The owners were very Friendly and chatty had a good talk about the animals on site which we fell in love with. Had great food in Rillington, & pickering only a short drive to both so all in all a lovely weekend was had with our two little dogs and weather didn't beat us although it was bad at times.

Loved every minute. Starlight Sanctuary was clean, fresh and modern. Hot tub was ready and up to temperature on our arrival. The setting was perfect, with picturesque views. We made friends with the Alpacas and goats that came over to visit us every morning.

My mum and I stayed for a couple of days in the amazing Starlight Sanctuary pod.

It was amazing! The views were beautiful, overlooking the llamas and goats. We also had the pleasure of meeting the new sheep on our visit. The pod was very clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed for your stay. The bottle of wine and animal feed were a lovely touch. As for the hot tub, that was so relaxing and so big you could really unwind and again take in the wonderful views, and the peace and quiet! My mum had never been in a hot tub before, and she was very impressed! I would also like to say a huge thank you to Jade, who is part of the team. She was an amazing host who was kind, friendly, and went above and beyond for my mum and me whilst we were there! So thanks again, nothing was too much trouble for her. We popped into Rillington and had an amazing lunch at the Coach & Horses pub, which was recommended and again had very friendly staff and lovely food. We will definitely be back! I would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone!

We recently stayed at Starlight Sanctuary after finding a great last-minute deal, and we’re so glad we did!

We were looking for somewhere peaceful, secluded, and away from the hustle and bustle, and it was exactly that. The cabin was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed without having to pack the whole house. The hot tub was definitely the highlight and made our stay feel that little bit more luxurious and relaxing. We stayed with our two dogs and it really did feel private. The only thing we’d suggest is maybe adding a gate around the cabin area so dogs can safely wander between the cabin and outside without having to be tethered. The only other little thing we mentioned was that some fairy lights over the hot tub would make it even more magical in the evenings, as the floodlight felt quite bright and took away a little from the atmosphere. Other than those small suggestions, we genuinely can’t fault it. It was exactly the peaceful break we needed, and we’d happily stay again. We’d definitely recommend Starlight Sanctuary to anyone looking to switch off and enjoy some peace and quiet!
