Description

Sandy Nook is a stunning house nestled in Marske-By-The-Sea, North Yorkshire.

This coastal abode boasts partial ground-floor living, proximity to the beach and North York Moors National Park, sea views and a freestanding bath, making it an outstanding base for friends or families seeking a seaside escape.

Arrival is effortless, with a dedicated off-road parking space leading to the entrance.

The garden features gravel underfoot and a decked area where guests can settle with a warm drink and take in the coastal views.

Inside, the ground floor welcomes with wooden flooring that flows through the hallway and into the heart of the home.

The kitchen/diner is a sociable space, anchored by stylish hanging lights above the island and breakfast bar seating that invites relaxed conversation.

A utility room discreetly houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, keeping sandy towels and walking gear out of sight.

The ground-floor double bedroom offers a peaceful retreat, with glass doors opening onto the deck and two armchairs positioned to enjoy the view.

A wall-mounted TV adds comfort, and guests have access to a nearby shower room with a sleek walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Upstairs, the carpeted landing opens into a bright sitting room, elevated to make the most of the coastal vistas.

Two inviting armchairs, a sofa, and a TV create a relaxed space to gather, while a Velux window brings natural light, and glass doors frame the ever-changing sea and sky.

Whether you're watching the waves roll in or settling in for a quiet evening, this space encourages you to slow down and savour the moment.

The first floor also offers a second double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin room, each with TVs for private unwinding, and a vibrant bathroom with glossy green tiles and fixtures.

Natural light pours in through the Velux window, illuminating the freestanding bath—perfect for a long soak after a day of coastal adventures.

Outside, the balcony becomes a front-row seat to the shoreline, where the rhythm of the waves sets the pace for slow mornings and starlit evenings.

For those keen to explore further afield, the Victorian town of Saltburn offers cliff lifts, independent shops, and a pier walk that’s perfect for sunset views.

Redcar, a little further along the coast, is home to a racecourse, cinema, and the quirky Zetland Lifeboat Museum.

And for a full day out, Whitby promises a blend of history and folklore, with its dramatic abbey ruins, winding streets, and the chance to sample fresh fish and chips by the harbour.

Choose Sandy Nook for a refreshing coastal escape in North Yorkshire, where sea views and thoughtful touches combine to create a memorable stay.
